Getting into vehicles needs a rework

I couldn't find a mention of this but can we have a rework of getting into vehicles or is the small footprint of the vehicle entry system purposely small? I already have anxiety about running round town, I have heart attacks even more when I'm being chased and have to temp abandon a vehicle because the enter vehicle footprint highlight won't show up as I'm not standing on the exact pixel it requires before it appears.

If your next to a vehicle, hit the Z key(if you haven't remapped it), then whatever number key corresponds to the door you want to enter.

 

Not ideal, but useful in those hectic moments.

 

Mind you, if you're on the right side of the vehicle,  you're gonna want to hit a door # corresponding to the side your on, or you'll walk around the car to door 1. Z again to change seats.

I don't think so, you'd have to be standing near the doors to open them anyway, man what's next driving should be possible with a broom while sitting on top of your car?

It works kinda like the walk to feature, only I goes to whatever seat you select. I do it all the time, sometime the angle the car is parked at makes hitting that green square kind of annoying.

I agree. Was sitting in drivers seat waiting and laughing at my friend, how he was turning around in circles and wiggling his character, trying to enter a car unsuccessfully. The process of entering car isnt smooth, hard to hit that "enter" spot.
