Xydonus
So, this is something that started in the, ehem, special area, where the testers hang out. However, this one is about catchphrases! It's rather simple; type out a well known (or obscure if your feeling like a bastard) catchphrase, scramble the words up and provide a clue! Your only allowed one catchphrase. Whoever gets it right has to come up with the next one. Here's mine, and to start it of I'll keep it simple - eLst gte edary ot eru!blm - Clue: Ring announcers have a habit of saying this.. Rathlord
One ringy-dingy Two ringy-dingsie ? I actually don't get the reference I just put that together from the letters. Am I right?
Xydonus
Correct, except the dingsie part. That's dingies. It's a phrase that I heard my mum say, never knowing what it meant. It's from the Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In, an obscure 1970's show. Character called Erny or Ernstein, something like that, that he would mutter. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9e3dTOJi0o
Rathlord
I'm good at word puzzles... never would have recognized the reference. I recognized the one and two quickly... the hyphenated phrases I figured out shared a word in common by finding the shared lettering. I figured out that the only likely word with the shared letters was "ringy," then sorted the rest. "shgldiof, eht ksanc atth sselmi kcba!"
Xydonus
Not sure about that one.. .... the snack that ... and I'm lost on the rest. Goldfish might be the first one, although it doesn't really go well with the sentence. And I'm going to bed! Someone else can have that one before my brain ends up fried.
