It reminds me of Starbound, because your character could examine objects and depending on the race you've chosen for them, will have different lines for those objects. Like Apex characters would comment on Miniknog Propaganda, Florans would tell you a bit about the hunt if you've examined their race's artifacts, etc. It wasn't much, but it did add a layer of enjoyment when the plot required you to examine objects associated with one of the races. But for PZ, I feel like character reactions would be an organic way to teach people about the game's mechanics like say a door's locked, and your character thinks to himself "oh, I've got an axe to break it down" or "hmm, maybe I should try a window."
