  1. Altering days and nights would be cool, especially if you set zombies to only spawn during certain times.
  2. This makes sense, and it would make for yet another variable for a sandbox experience.
  3. Hmm, that would be a nice idea... Slowly building up your base and slowly getting the zombies to notice your base. Speaking of "tower defense," It would be nice to be able to set up static defenses that could kill zombies. Like nailing stakes into walls.
  4. That would be cool to see. But in a more broad sense, considering the game is an endless game. Like the game keeps track of your kills and survival time if you have a watch. I'd like to see a leaderboard of some kind, yeah?
  5. Metal armor would be cool to see, like taking lead pipes and a saw to make leg/arm coverings to protect you from bites and scratches.
  6. I for one want deathblows with long blade or axe weapons to have a chance to decapitate zombies. Who's with me?
  7. Imagine the opposite of a panic moodle, which is when your character drops a couple of zombies who have caused them panic in the first place.
  8. Lucky! I'm lucky to find 1 machete in a survivor house, and you're just getting 2 katanas? XD
  9. I mean, there are only two long blade weapons I know of, Machete and the even less common Katana. I mean, The Machete tends to be my mvp as far as weapons go if I can ever get my hands on one, and I would imagine The Katana is just as good if not better. I guess the problem there is that Long Blades need more chances to spawn, I mean, with abundant everything, it's not uncommon for me to be able to be drowning in Fire Axes and Wood Axes, but only be able to get 1 or 2 Machetes.
  10. I dunno, I feel like traits could compensate for the lack of skill bonuses for Long Blades and Long Blunts.
  11. Considering walling off the opening to a fenced-in structure can be an easy way to ensure a zombie-proof hideout, I think that that needs to be a thing.
  12. I mean, I've intstances where I've been stuck on "slight damage" due to have multiple scratches but they were all bandaged up. So the health bar is limited imo. I guess it's better than having no idea whatsoever how close your character is to dying.
  13. I mean, you will have to wear a bandage for a fairly long time and change it out every so often so as not to get infected. (Because we all know how much it'd suck to not get zombified but still go down to a common infection, but I digress.) But I feel like the health bar is more of a mental thing, because getting food makes it go up pretty quick.
  14. Okay, now being able to build zombie cages in order to counter or distract hostile npcs or players would be pretty sweet ngl. Though this does bring back old memories of Pre Build 41 days where survivor homes (the ones that are boarded up) inexplicably have about 20-30 zombies locked in them.
  15. I'd like to be able to hammer stakes into my walls to create spiked walls that can damage zed. Imagine being able to create anti-zombie walls to help keep you safe in the endgame.
  16. I already posted this on another thread buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut..... I feel like aggressive migration would be much cooler. The idea is that with aggressive migration, zombies will not only spawn closer to you, hordes will start to close in very rapidly as you're holed up somewhere. It may take longer if you're out in the woods, but zombies and hordes will start to be a problem if you don't keep an eye out and kill wanderers as they near your base.
  17. Yeah, it would be cool to see. It would reduce complaints about how the "endgame" is fairly uneventful especially within forests. When Zed do in fact keep creeping into your location and not just wander the map, it does help keep a guy alert even after months have passed and they've purged their safe zone several times.
  18. I mean, it would be a neat option to set "aggressive migration," and make to where if you're hanging out in a cell for a couple of days or weeks, that zombies will be more likely to spawn within or around that cell and slowly move in on your position.
  19. Personally, I feel like it would be fun to have an NPC companion that you could create with your character and get them to help you. Like, a best friend, family member, or significant other. I would probably never bother with NPCs otherwise.
  20. Yeah, one of the points in The Zombie Survival Guide was that while pistols aren't useful as a primary firearm, you could use it at point blank range if you're grabbed and about to get bit. These days, pistols at high shooting skills are some of the best firearms to date because the standard 9mm can hold 15 bullets a clip.
  21. The idea is that if someone were to take both Depressive and Self-Destructive, they would have 40 free points at the cost of a character that could spiral into death by sadness at any time and sometimes without warning. Hoarder is only six points because it requires you to be at or over carrying capacity to avoid a slow decline in happiness/mood.
  22. I'd like to suggest some traits. Positive Traits: -Psychopath/Slasher (Increases accuracy with knives and greatly reduced chances of knives getting stuck.) (-6) -Martial Artist/Brawler (Allows your shove to do actual damage and even kill zombies wholesale.) (-12) -Repairman (Increases durability restored from all repairs and may randomly stop repairs from getting more ineffective.) (-14) -Regenerative (Increases natural healing speed, makes it easier to ward off zombification for longer) (-14) Negative Traits: -Klutz (Increases the chance of tripping while running, and would increase chances of injury from doing so) (+8) -Self-Destructive (Health declines if you become sad, can actually cause death.) (+10, doubles with depressive) -Depressive (Randomly becomes sad, makes it harder to restore relative happiness) (+10, doubles with self-destructive) -Hoarder (Mood declines if you aren't at carrying capacity.) (+6)
  23. I remember popping off a suggestion in December and part of it was sandbox options that would let the player decide things like how durable weapons would spawn in and even how quickly they would wear out.
  24. Sometimes the simplest things are the best. I'd like for sheets to have utility as a blanket item, but you know.
  25. Ahhh man. Well, look on the bright side, unlike forage zones, you can do this indefinitely.
