Are water tiles suppose to run out of water?

 

I set up a new base in New Denver, near the entrance to the map with the private fishing hole, located here: http://s251.photobucket.com/user/Harry_Canyon/media/water%20tiles_zpsw53xnmen.jpg.html?sort=3&o=0

 

Anyway... as I was filling up my bottles and whatnots, it seems that the water tile actually ran out of water since I now don't get an option to fill anything if I click on that tile. I can still fish on that tile though.

 

Was this intended, a bug or maybe caused by the mod itself?

Looks like a bug.  The tiles provide 9999 water before running out.  I also noticed drinking tainted water directly from the river doesn't increase the player's poison level.

Ok, good to know. Well not really... but you know what I mean. It's closure.

The tainted water thing is not nice but yeah for the other Problem, could be solved if water tiles act like rain barrels and refill when it rains, if the run out out water you have a drought

Hard for us to verify since it's happening with a map mod. One of the devs might know; otherwise, maybe try it on the vanilla map and see what happens?

I just tried it in West Point and the same thing happened, the water tile ran out of water.
