  1. Your parents let you play Resident Evil games when you were six?! Wow, like just... wow.
  2. No, not NPCs, but having the sandbox settings in MP. Although you can see 'survivors' as an option in the twitter image, they can't be turned on (yet). ninja'd...
  3. I'd hazard a guess at 'yes, kinda', since I had one running at the end of last week. I managed to log in okay and admin commands worked just fine, but it was a one-off and wouldn't run properly after that. Haven't bothered firing it up since all the build 25/24 hoo-ha blew up. The 'real Build 25' will hopefully resolve all of that, and then I may well launch my OSX PZ server exclusively for Mac users. Curious to know what anyone thinks about that idea. I would be dedicated if there is any possible way it could be 24/7. Shouldn't really be a problem. I don't know how solidly it will run, but I can reserve 4GB of RAM so it ought to be fine. Once build 25 is properly up and I can test, I will know for sure.
  4. That's a niiiice sleeper suit "you're" wearing there, BeastlyBean!
  5. Wow, only 8 tiles away from you? So if you spawned more than, say, 30 or more, you might have a wee bit of trouble escaping? Btw, can the godmod and invisible options be toggled on and off? If so, better mention that in the OP.... Oh, and does invisibility mean the zombies can't see you either? PS: what is the '/gunfire' command? Did you mean '/gunshot'?

  7. I see, that's cool. In Europe, they would be called stun guns, but 'Taser' does roll off the tongue very nicely. A ranged Taser would be very cool to play with, not sure how much use it'll be against multiple zombies, but the more weapon options that PZ has, the better, if you ask me. I'll hit the 'follow' button and look forward to being to play with your mod soon, I hope!
  8. Hi Capt. Flapjack! Your mod idea looks really good. I just had one point to make and that is that tasers are ranged weapons so, unless yours is ranged, it might be more appropriate to call it a stun gun instead (where you have to make physical contact to deliver the shock). It was just a thought...
  9. He's aware of it Okay! 'Nuff said. I like Connall's easter egg idea though... choo-choo!
  10. RJ, Just wanted to point that the "stoptrain" command kinda ought to be changed to "stoprain". Unless there are going to be trains in PZ soon, and you can stop them, in which case - keep it the way it is! startrain = Start rain on the serverstoptrain = Stop rain on the server
  11. I imagine that it will. The current situation with OSX not being compatible with other OS's ought to be fixed soon.
  12. Hmmm, I'm using MacOSX and MP is broken for OSX right now, so I don't know what else to suggest. Hopefully you'll be able to use campfires properly in the next build of PZ though.
  13. Campfires do work - can you describe what you did exactly please? For example, you placed the campfire on the ground, you lit it (with lighter and book, or with kindling), you right clicked on the campfire and chose Add Fuel > Book/Log/Plank/Stick/Newspaper/whatever. Then you added uncooked food to the campfire's container, etc. As for known errors in PZ MP, you just have to search the forums, there are quite a few but this is alpha and the dev team are working their cotton socks off to try and fix them all. PZ wasn't built in a day though!
  14. The campfire does work, but unless you add fuel to it, it will only stay lit for a short time (1 game hour sounds about right). You need to add fuel using the right click menu, some fuels keep the fire going for longer than others - see here for details of what fuels can be added and what effect they have. I don't know what you mean by 'lockpick', I have not seen any such thing in the game, and if it were in the game, a lockpick should not be usable as fuel for a fire. Rain does put campfires out, and other players not being able to see campfires that you have placed is, apparently, a known issue in multiplayer.
  15. You said 'had', did you find a way to fix it? No, unfortunately I didn't. Rathlord's comment here pretty much sums up what happened with the latest MP build - it should be sorted soon though.
