  1. Because they both lack respawns and numbers. The servers are currently not stable enough to maintain any significant number of zombies (who are utterly useless on their own already).
  2. These will be fixed. Regardless if they will fix it or not it is the current state of the game.
  3. I have bought the game myself and played it for a while now and I can conclude that it is the pretty much the opposite of project zomboid. -The zombies are absolutely useless, hit them in the face once and they fall over. -The players are the threat in this game, KOS is very very common. - The item spawning is slightly similar to project zomboid if you compare a server to a saved game (which you can jump between), the items don't respawn and it is very common to jump between servers simply to loot high value locations (such as Balota). -Combat logging (you disconnect during a firefight) is also very common and is like the server hopping above frowned upon. Interesting is that people that try to survive for long and gather gear is seen as "boring" and "don't play the game right" which is quite the opposite of project zomboid gameplay strategies. Maybe we project on indiestone could try to get our own server where we try some more casual and player interactive gameplay?
  4. Not really sure what you are asking for, you want a map? http://pzmap.crash-override.net/
  5. And I said that Boolean circuits got nothing to do with minecraft besides Notch ripping of the already existing concept.
  6. No thats not an example its a generator and extension cords this is not minecraft dammit. Not sure what's going on here, but it displeases me. Please, be nice. Sorry but im tired of all the "minecraft" talk i hear from the freshmen and sophomores all day at school I am pretty sure that the redstone idea resembles the wiremod for garry's mod. Boolean circuits were not invented by Notch and the concept had existed previously, how would this turn the game into minecraft?
  7. For now yes. He said perhaps later on in the game he'll add more but the focus is more on the colony/story telling aspects as of right now. Sounds like a good decision, I assume there is no fluid mechanic yet either? I need something to drown bath my minions citizens in.
  8. looks awesome but is there only 1 Y layer?
  9. I like this, forces you to play differently each time.
  10. Yeah exactly, they thought they were gona be the main stars in this game and now this guy walks screwing them.
  11. If you look closely you will see that the zombies are not interacting with the nearby dragon, from this we can conclude the existence of upcoming zombie dragons leading their hordes. Also note the zombies standing in a perfect line, 3 of them yeah.. half life 3 confirmed guys.
  12. Competition is never bad for the customer. Just because the indie stone worked hard on pz it doesn't mean this other studio didn't work their asses off as well.
