Thats why i said an option to turn it on or off. Just having the option makes people want to click it. Whats the point in playing a perma-death game where you can just set it to softcore? I'd be fine if a mod was created for the usage of softcore, but it being in the main game just doesn't seem to go along with the original idea.

Yep, the construction worker just has the skin of Kevlar, but once bitten, doesn't actually help in the situation.

Are there any mods that create more melee weapons into the game? If not, then would anyone care to make one? :cool: It would be interesting to have a spear, katana, hatchet, etc. into the game.

The only thing I could say to a "cure" is that it shouldn't exist. I do, however, like the idea of being able to prolong the inevitable with some sort of mixture of drugs. For example; You're bitten and you know you're infected. So, in a last ditch effort to mix some chemicals that do slow the infection rate, but not end it (giving you an extra week or so). I dunno why you would need another week, maybe you need to return some important supplies to your group (like your group running low on water/food and you finding quite a bit of it, weeks worth, and you want to put that last bit of good karma in before the 'fat lady sings').

That's exactly what I was thinking. Anyway, I don't know about any of you, but sleeping in a chair or on an uncomfortable couch does leave me feeling a bit... bad after waking up. I'd image a person would be mad about sleeping in a chair, and with some sort of other moodlet; discomfort, maybe?

It's even worse when you go through an area that you've already fought in, so zombie corpses are littering the floor, and a freaking zombie laying on the ground takes a nice bite out of my manly legs.

I don't think that food that is ready for harvest rots away. However, I'm unsure about it catching a disease or simply dying off, like regular plants do. It would be interesting if you tested it yourself to find out. Crops really shouldn't be left alone for too long. I think they still need water.

Unless, of course, Winter clothing was created along with Hot Cocoa and a nice fireplace. It would be just like Christmas morning.

Sadly, there is a very small chance of actually not being infected from a bite. Hopefully, you aren't bitten. However, if you do start getting the symptoms. The only chance of survival is to eat plenty of food, so your health never keeps dropping. There is no cure. I've heard you still die after about 3 days of being infected though. So, hope that you're clean.

Sounds great to me. However, Shopping carts do make a bit of a squeaking noise, attracting the local undead. I guess it would be a more of a "Risk vs. Reward."
