  1. Please! I beg you, make some kind of wooden tent peg, craftable from a tree branch. Or some replacement for it. Would make a world of difference for bushcrafting kind of gameplay. Really grateful for the new content though, having a ton of fun with it.
  2. Couldn't agree more, making it a trait or a set of traits should definitely settle things down for everyone i believe. I can't really see a problem with this being implemented.
  3. Thanks for the quick reply, I guess it's not that big of an issue anyways.
  4. Would also like to know that. Also, I've been waiting for this update A LOT really, so thanks beforehand. I hadn't had time before, but I'll be checking it out today for sure!
  5. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!
  6. Or not.. Well, I apologise if my message was inappropriate in any way. I'm kind of new to the forums. More weapons Right, then Bows and Crossbows could be in that category aswell. Still, it's not a big deal, it's just that as you just told the other guy, Zomboid's lore it's greatly influenced by Brooks' books, and with the machete being Brooks' favorite blade weapon (as accounted in the Zombie Survival Guide), I don't know.. But anyways thanks for the reply, I'll stop nagging about it now.

  8. I'm a little surprised machetes are not on this list as they are probably a planned feature and a pretty common suggestion on this forum. Here are some threads where it was suggested: http://theindiestone.com/.../14246-machete/ http://theindiestone.com/.../13695-ladders-machetes-fire-extinguishers-and-more/ http://theindiestone.com/.../14754-melee-weapons/ http://theindiestone.com/.../10612-the-effectiveness-of-swords-against-zombies/ http://theindiestone.com/.../5752-weapons-ideas/ http://theindiestone.com/.../4837-more-immersive-melee-combat/ Well, it would be just nice to see it on this list thats all. Thanks!
  9. Totally agree, also sheet ropes could be pulled down by zombies sometimes.
  10. I don't know but I always thought it as a matter of how much time someone had in their life for other activities outside work. I mean, an unemployed person would have a lot more freetime than a doctor, and also the time a doctor would have had to study to get his degree a burger flipper could have used to learn about fishing. It's about the opportunity cost, when you choose to do something in your life you are giving up the chance to do something else. edit: typos
  11. That's great! IMO that would be a perfect way to nerf sheet ropes. Maybe you run into a house with its stairs previously demolished and climb a sheet rope to its first floor, zombies follow you pull the rope down and you are stuck right there with no way down (that is if you don't have the materials to make a new one). Though they should add the possibility of pulling the sheet rope up with you (that way caustious players wouldn't get screwed). Edit: typos.
  12. What about reducing the players perception radius, and not allowing reading if not bright enough? We still cannot know how bright/dark someone's monitor is, that's true. What about a making a poll, just to see how many people consider nights too bright?
  13. That's exactly what I mean! Thanks for the replies! Edit: replies.
  14. I was reading at a thread about generators the other day and as I though as was said in the OP of that thread that generators doesn't seem to be worth the effort of using atm. I started thinking about how it would probably be in realistic zombie apocalypse for the average Joe and the reason he/she would want to get a generator working. Alright some might think of maintaining their food fresh, some of warming themselves, but for a lot of people having electricity in ones home would be just a huge moral boost, and it would probably be because of them being able to see notably better at nights and maybe even having the possibility to read. Both of those things as it stands are not a problem for the player, and I think it would be nice to have another reward for getting a generator working and maybe not that hard to implement. And so, I suggest making nights darker and only being able to read at a determined light level. Also, another plus of making nights darker would be that a lamp on a pillar, flashlights, candles, and other light sources would be a lot more useful, as would also be the trait Cat's Eyes. Well thats about it, I just thought I could make a thread myself as I've been reading this forum almost every day for about a year and never made one or even posted a comment. Also, THANKS to the developers and the people helping them at this forum for the great work. It's an incredible game the one you've got here.
