It was good in the 90s to early 2000s, now, not so much. Music in general infact is terrible now.

? You can see only a 10th as far.
Been this way for all time. Passing out was not in the game.
I know it was never actually in the game, but back in the Desura days I am fairly certain there was a time that it was mentioned about being a possibility, I also remember the emote icon for maximum tiredness when moused over would say "in danger of passing out" or something like that. Obviously, that wouldn't make sense if being chased by zombies lol, but yeah. The vision difference has honestly never been enough in my opinion, at least if somebody stays up for days and days these other effects would be good to come into play.

Overtiredness has been a joke for a very long time and someone can usually do just fine at the max tiredness and never have to bother sleeping. I think I remember it being a possibility to pass out a very long time ago? Or maybe that was something the developers were planning back then, can't remember but, I really think not sleeping properly should be more of a threat somehow, at least if someone is up more than 24 hours maybe they should start to get a little woozy and start to move like they are kind of drunk because they are so tired? Another idea - in combination with the movement change, maybe make the screen turn black sometimes for a second or so to simulate someone closing their eyes for an extended period due to tiredness? Perhaps a bit of motion blur too? Maybe that's over doing it, but something does need to be done about tiredness at some point. Just figured I'd share some ideas.

It would be nice to be able to replace certain tracks in game, I've been itching to throw in some 28 Days Later / 28 Weeks Later music for a veeeeeeeeeeeeery long time.
-
I just wish I could figure out how to add or replace music. I've been itching to add 28 Days Later / 28 Weeks Later music for like 2 years now.
-
Does anyone know how to do either of these?

I thought 41.33 wasn't out in IWBUMS yet?

Here's an example of a road sign that should be readable in the new update.

It would help people with navigation, and would be that extra bit of immersion.

Does anyone know of a way to do the above? I'd really like to add some 28 Weeks Later / 28 Days Later tracks and maybe some The Walking Dead ones.

Excited about the upcoming patch !
This would be good to know.

Maybe there's a way to remove songs as well?
-
I've asked this question a couple times on the Steam forums and TIS forums and sadly never get a proper answer, I myself would really like to add the songs from 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks later.

There's still a few things we're not quite clear on regarding the save issue.
Could you try getting the console.txt file after it happens again? Ideally, we need it to be in the same session of the game, as the console.txt gets overwritten each time the game is started.
So, start a game -> save it -> load it -> if it breaks, grab the console.txt.
Note: if you're using trait mods, it's expected it'll break.Note2: some people have suggested it only breaks when using the continue button, whereas it works fine after loading
Note 3: is it crashing or locking up during save/sleep, causing you to quit the game some other way than ESC -> Quit?
I'll be sure to update my bug report with a console.txt
Edit - using load instead of continue seems to have fixed it.

Did this fix the issue with saving and loading characters and losing progress?

Same.

Sometimes I lose my save. I start the game, play for a while, quit, I press load and then it acts as if it starts a new game and I lose everything.
Same issue here.

You basically make your own sounds.txt. they're in the scripts folder.
Never tried modding, so I guess I'll have to go take a look in the tutorials. Thanks.
One question, where is the scripts folder? I checked Project Zomboid, and the Zomboid folder in appdata, nowhere to be seen.

Just wondering if it's possible to replace the music in the game? I'd like to replace some of the intense tracks with 28 Weeks Later and 28 Days Later music.
Thanks!
