Phase zombies just is the next difficulty after sprinters.

Word is this server will involve sprinters?

Zombies should at least drop lighters / matches at a higher rate. Tons of folks all around the world keep lighters on hand all the damn time because they love cigarettes. Zombies are no exception, should even usually spawn lighter + cigarettes together.

Guns are meant for shooting people, not dealing with a single zombie.

I get whitelisted better than anyone, can't hide from the Bauer Power.

Def going to be hitting a lot of players with cars and driving them over until they're dead. Probably by hiding in a garage I'll build on the highway between Muldraugh and West Point so when you spend four minutes running and are not paying attention a car just drives out of the forest from nowhere and flattens you. I hope when you hit players with cars, the first hit just takes half your health and fractures you. That way I can type *Honks* after the first hit before I reverse into them.

New Dawn has just had a recent overhaul of admins. Expect posts from Atrica, Mindgate or Pika in the upcoming weeks.

The world needs zombie sprinters, it makes for the best multiplayer experience.

The rules themselves are not that bad, execution and how they enforce them however is a lot like an apartheid in levels of discrimination between players who are in the /inner friend circle/ and those who are not. Good example is if you are popular with the super friend circle you'll get a slap on the wrist but if you are unpopular they'll kill your character / ban you. if you complain about it? Post deleted / declared a troll. Most folks who were serious about RP quit because having some 16 year old admin abuse his powers so that he can defend his imaginary in game girlfriend / super friend circle by moving to get you banned / removed from the server for the crime of being an existing in character threat isn't a very creative or nurturing environment and it isn't even RP. It's just real life drama, and if I wanted that I would go to a House Party.

I didn't want to post in this but lol. Folks got banned because New Dawn got a new head admin like three months ago and they're just banning anyone who disagrees with them in a public setting. Doesn't matter if you've been with New Dawn or AGN for three years, for the great crime of having a differing opinion you shall be declared a troll and banned. I know Vcassarola and he never deserved what he got and a lot of the older players know it and won't touch this server anymore. They will not accept an applicant that threatens their grand plans for their characters that admins use their powers to make a reality with either blatant favorism / stupid events all about their own personal character and the rest of the server is supposed to follow them as they beat a drum to the tune of a world where they are the most popular hero. Guess this thread is active because they can't ban us for expressing that players should run the story. Jack Bauer out.

Good to see this thread is still alive, as winter turns into spring we watch our progress.

Animations will be excellent because they'll allow characters to climb large fences and all kinds of other amazing shyat.

Toxic poison that accumulates over long term eating would be cool too

I wouldn't mind putting sleeping pills into food as a poison option, or other things that don't exactly kill the person but perhaps makes them go blind or incapacitates them? I don't know, I just don't want to be straight up murdering people with my posion every time.

This thread we will talk about animations and how much we'd love to see them. Also about how hilarious it will be when we witness other players falling over randomly and getting ganked by swarms of zombies while we laugh because it isn't happening to us!

New Dawn! After several revivals this year and shuffling of admin team, finally at last we have a server that gives its players freedom. We average 20+ players a day and offer a very interesting RP experience set three years into the apocalypse. Server is very inclusive unlike the New Dawn of the past and the application process has been shortened. We play on a small part of the traditional Project Zomboid map known as Valley Station, that way high amounts of roleplayers are in a small area, helping to ensure your Project Zomboid experience is full of player interactions.
