psykikk
hi there, I just recently (this morning) added several items to the game.I followed this tutorial: http://pz-mods.net/guide/adding-custom-item-sprites/ http://pz-mods.net/guide/the-basics-of-adding-items-and-recipes/ and started new games in sandbox, with no zombies to test it out. alas, nothing. could it be that editing the existing items.txt and newitems.txt was totally wrong ? I copied all files and that way I basically have two installations of PZ so that I dont mess with the IWBMS built.... thx in advance
Suomiboi
You also have to have an .info file for the modloader: http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/2011-how-to-use-the-modloader/ Did you check that? Also do you want your items to spawn in the world or just give the items at start?
Japer
You need to create your own items.txt and put the files in there. I suggest downloading a currently available mod and see how that is structured. You will also need to get these items, either by making them spawn ingame or by adding a give items event. Also make sure you have a load texture .lua to load your icons and that they have the prefix 'Item_' before their name
