B41 Breaking windows with the metal pipe seems off

Got a metal pipe in this game and proceeded to attempt to bust out a window to get into where I needed to go only to find out it takes about 10 smacks to break out a window (while other similar items do it in about 2-3) which feels a bit off considering what kinda item it is. Lead pipe is the same as well.

in my experience, all melee weapons can break windows in 1 hit. maybe you positioned yourself wrong as breaking windows is a little finicky at the moment

Did you attack the window or did you right-click on it and chose the Smash Window action? The latter should work every time right away.

Attacked the window directly I sat there and counted the number of swings before the pipe broke out the window then tested a few other blunt weapons which seemed to be normal. And your right on the right clicking I remember way back when if i recall that it would make you elbow the window and getting injured that or the post i read stated that and been melee attacking them since so ty for the info on that.

I tried the same, had to hit the window like 10 times with metal pipe. I think its same issue with the other variants

You only elbow the window if you don't have a weapon equipped. If you have a weapon the right click method is the easiest way to break the windows. xXx
