  1. Hello everybody! Please don't judge me for my english and drawing skills The picture(which i found on the internet and added some things) shows: 1. Main inventory(holders for the knife and bat, pistol holster). 2. Your pockets and bag or "big hiking bag" if you insist. It can be on your secondary hand, on the back or both(as is done now). The Suggestion on the picture: 1. Gives you quick access to your weapons just like in real life. You can just drag knife or bat (or other weapon you can find and put in your main inventory) to hand, smash zombie head or maybe carve fish and animals with your knife. 2. To open the inventory you need to click on the pocket/bag. Menu pops up and shows your loot. 3. You don't need to keep crafting ingredients in your "box". 4. Pocket opens quickly. But it needs time to open your bag. More about pockets: 1. When you start a new game, all you have is your clothes with some pockets. And maybe a little bag or not. 2. There are different sizes of pockets. Lets say small, medium and large. 3. Not all loot can be put in your pocket. Example: you can't put camping tent in your jeans 4. There are a different clothes which might have different number of pockets. I understand that it needs a lot of work to put this idea into reality. But inventory is very important thing in games like this. I guess that's all. Hope you liked it.
  2. First of.. Hi =) I would really like to see some ways to armor yourself against the undead. Perhaps a more indepth clothing system. Where you can make "armor" from things in your surrounding. For example: A magazine turned around your wrist would prevent bittings/scratchings there. (World War Z) I also thought about degrigation on the things you wear and the factors played from that. Like if you have dirty clothes, your unhappyness will fall. Just an example. I really aint that guy that are focused on grapichs, tho I would really like to see some form of upgrade in the inventory system and your character screen. As if you get scratched on your leg, the pants on that part will rip and you would have to patch it up or find new pants. I feel there is alot of things that could come out from this so if someone is interested in disscusing things, I would much so join! this is my first post in this forum so, pipe down the hate Great game btw! Alooooooot of potential. /Torne
  3. I was thinking of adding how it would be more fun if when wear a bag on your back that it shows, like you see your character wearing a duffel bag on his/her back for example. Makes you feel more like you are carrying things, lets you understand why your character cant run great distances. On this Also id like to add how about a tool belt or such that you can use for smaller items with a weight of 0.5 or less and greatly reduces the weigth, as the rules of relativity states that just cause it doesnt change to the laws of physics it will still feel different to you in your situation like how a big backpack full of books is heavy as hell but you can much easier wear it on your back. Sorry for the crap use of punctuation.
  4. Anyone working on some new player clothes? I love my sweater and everything, but I think it'd be neat if someone added new variations on clothes, and maybe some special items i.e. a trenchcoat for rain and protection, boots that give you additional rain protection(and maybe even a stomp ability ), a vest/jacket with a bunch of pockets to increase personal storage space, etc. Function is priority, but it would also be nice to have a little more customization. I would do this myself, but I know zip about modding...
  5. Hello guys, I am quite new here and I do not want to be rude or anything, but I think it would be good if even male characters could wear skirts in the game as well. As it is now it feels a bit too gender normative and old fashioned. Many men today wear skirts, and it's just fun to be able to play the game as the character you wish to play as. Also, imagine the scenario (as a guy) where you have been bitten by a bunch of zombies, survived and tore your pants in to bandages. You later find a skirt in a house, but are not able to put it on? Wierd right? A skirt is better than nothing for the cold, and after all it is the zombie appocalypse. Thanks for a great game though, I love it, I really do and am becoming quite addicted to it (in a good way) - this was just really a quick thought! [and sorry for any language flaws, english isn't my first language and it is really late! ]
  6. I couldn't find any info on this here, so apologies if this has ben asked/solved before (please link me!). How are the new "unlimited" clothing colours defined in scripts? I am modding the profession outfits and saw that they are represented as follows: topColor = ColorInfo.new(0.1725,0.2745,0.5411,1);That's a blue top. But what do the numeric values correspond to? I was thinking RGB, but those are three-digit. Hex colours are a single six-digit code. So... what are they? For example, what would a pink top coded as above look like? I'm sure there's a simple answer here that I'm missing! Right now, I can mod the clothes and their colours just fine, but since I don't understand the actual colour codes being used, I can only reliably use the colours already specified in "CharacterCreationProfession.lua". On the same topic, how would I give/spawn a clothing item of a specific colour rather than a random one with the new system? player:getInventory():AddItem("Base.Shirt_White");... would give a white sweater or a randomly coloured one? Now that the clothing colours are no longer individual items, how would it be done now (instead of changing the above codee to "Shirt_Blue", I mean)?
