  1. I believe Broseph is indeed holding a fork as well, just difficult to make out in the picture. Angles and stuff.
  2. I'm thinking about heading down, but haven't made my mind up yet.

    Traders

The value a person would place on each item in their possession is always a difficult thing to balance with NPCs, however a trading system between players for future multiplayer would be sweet. I imagine a trading window system similar to Steam, where people drop stuff in there and the transaction doesn't go through unless both people approve. I like the idea in a PvP environment of offering trades as a way of seeing how much stuff the other guy has, then cancelling the trade and glooping them if they have what you want. Not that I would do that of course... I'm one of the good guys.
  4. Damn, I just evened the vote, 129 a piece. Pancakes are clearly the best. You don't see waffles getting their own special annual celebration. There is no 'Waffle Day'. Actually, I just looked that up... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waffle_Day
  5. Better late than never, here are the few pics I have... Posting links, rather than images, so as not to offend the eyes. Three at the (in)famous Rupali curry house at the Bigg Market. Rupali 1 Rupali 2 Rupali 3 And my personal favourite, the 3am shot. Last Orders
  6. Hello all, I'm Ewok, 30 years old, Newcastle resident and pal of forum resident, Dr Gonzo. I've not played a huge amount of Zomboid compared to most here. I'm a games journo and honestly don't get much time to play the games I actually want to play. As site editor I usually end up getting stuck with the titles none of the writing staff want to take. However, I've played a bit and am currently two episodes into a Let's Play on the game that I've been working on with Gonzo in my free time. Not published yet as have commissioned some custom artwork for the YouTube channel and waiting for that. We're also starting work on 'Geordie Space Program' soon, which promises to be a laugh. I also showed up to the Newcastle meet-up and got drunk with some of you, which was a pretty epic night! So hi, you sexy PZ Community peoples.
  7. From a 'common sense' point of view though, people would try this during the zompocalypse, and would most likely die while doing so - therefore no reason why they shouldn't be allowed to try, and die, in game. However, I don 't really think it's worth pursuing on that basis, as unless it was being introduced with a practical purpose in mind it's certainly not worth spending time on it that could be used on more productive activities. Was just throwing in my thoughts on the principles, rather than the practicalities.
  8. That's no reason not to implement it... I mean, drinking bleach is a pretty stupid idea too but people are still doing it. Just make amputation attempts fatal, and we can all sit back and laugh while we hear people complaining about it. - "I chopped my leg off within 2 minutes of being bitten and I still died! WTF!" "Um, of course you died dude. You chopped your own leg off."
  9. Didn't see this in any of the threads on pages 1-5, and unfortunately the search function won't work on by browser. However, even if the suggestion has mentioned in the past, adding multiplayer totally changes the dynamic of this. So basically, if a player (or future NPC) is 'sick', they will cough, splutter and sneeze; which will have a number of effects. Primarily, this will be a source of paranoia and suspicion in multiplayer. Is your friend a ticking timebomb waiting to turn and eat your face, or does he just have a sniffle? PVE? Better board up his bedroom door just to be safe... PVP? Well... Secondary effects - a small chance of infecting other players or NPCs (for general illness only, not the Zed virus), a signifcant penalty to NPC interaction and the chance to attract nearby zombies as a result of the noise.
  10. No photography allowed in there unfortunately, but we'll always have mammories... I mean memories... of the place. Indeed. At 3AM you just have to go where is open to keep your buzz going. And a tenner aint bad, was tempted to stick another in and try and get my money back, but that's how addictions start.
  11. I have a couple of pics from the Curry House and the Casino. Will try and get them uploaded tonight.
  12. Thanks dude. Considering the final six of us carried on until after 3:00 am, that means we'd been drinking solidly for 8 hours. We should all be dying.
  13. Morning all - Dr Gonzo's mate (Ross) here. Enjoyed my time with you wonderful people and thanks for making me feel so welcome. Looking forward so seeing some of the pics.
