  1. You need to click the big green download button on the top right, however it may be your browser not allowing files to be saved, im not entirely sure.
  2. your link seems to be broken, is there an updated one? i cant d/l it Give it a try again, it worked perfectly fine for me
  3. http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/6979-professional-professions/ Generally was covered
  4. Yes that should work, check the un-boxing recipes already in game. Have you tried it with your mod yet? I know you have all the icons etc created If that doesn't work try Result:Crisps=10, Crisps2=10, cardbox=1, As I think the / between items is and/or for example the craft bandage recipe is shirt/blouse/pants etc
  5. Add 1 love to your buildings, go to the roof tool and use the flat roof. It should look fine on these types of buildings. Alternatively if you want to have a specific type of roof covering (i.e. tiles) Create a room named roof, place it on top of each building and remove the walls
  6. That's why we have the glorious prospect of modding
  7. Well in the end Raccoon City was destroyed by a bomb, so maybe have something that kills everyone in the city at X time
  8. Oh I see now, thanks. It shouldn't be too much of an issue to tweak these
  9. I like this idea, a lot more thought out than what I had in mind. Mines was, 3 teams start in the outskirts of Raccoon City, they must then make their way through the urban concrete jungle that is Raccoon City, to get across the Circular River and into Arklay Forest Mountains. Hidden there will be The Hive. The first team to make it to the hive, and retrieve the samples of the T,G and anti-virus and reach their extraction zone wins. It's more intended to be a multiplayer team based mission that would take a few hours depending on settings. You can get scored on lives used, enemies killed and vials retrieved.
  10. What do you think of my suggestions? The code/lua or whatever was changed for Build 25. You'd have to update it. It was? Where did you see this? It should work fine. Suggestions were good and added. However I didn't add the hiking bag as I might give everyone a small container for their stuff, like a tool belt for the construction worker etc. Updated version with camping gear etc was added as the download link
  11. You need to create your own items.txt and put the files in there. I suggest downloading a currently available mod and see how that is structured. You will also need to get these items, either by making them spawn ingame or by adding a give items event. Also make sure you have a load texture .lua to load your icons and that they have the prefix 'Item_' before their name
  12. I couldn't find the code for camping because it was in a different module but I got it. Going to upload a new version now that contains camping equipment etc. I see no reason as to why this wouldn't work on Build 25, you can give it a try.
  13. DO IT!!!! please... Ask and you shall receive... http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/6979-professional-professions/
  14. This mod simply adds items to a players inventory upon starting a new game with a specific profession. Made by request of the community. Mod Features Fire Officer;Fire axe Police Officer;Pistol9mm Bullets Park Ranger;Matches, Tent, Campfire kit, Kindling, Water Bottle Construction Worker;HammerSawBox of nailsBox of screwsScrewdriver(Will include toolbelt container on next update) Security Guard;Baseball Bat (Possibly change to custom baton on next update)TorchBattery Baseball bat Vitamins It was suggested that each player spawn with a utility style belt to hold the items/tools they start with, so that feature may be implemented. Mod was built on stable build 23, however it should work or any other version you are running. Download v.1

    Resident Evil Mod

There will be 3 versions; 1) The mod was originally created in 4/5 different parts, so if you like one aspect of it, you can have that instead of the whole thing 2) The mod will work fully functional with vanilla maps, as well as other custom maps 3) The mod will be tweaked further, with better + more specific spawn points for my Resident Evil Map I aim to please the best of both worlds.
  16. Well if you thought of it, im sure others did too! Also check out my Resident Evil Mod I released last night. It's the foundation of my mod.
  17. If you guys want I can quickly write a mod to implement these suggestions? Fireman = Fire Axe Police Officer = Pistol + 2 mags Park Ranger = Camping Equipment Construction Worker = Tool belt with hammer, saw + some nails Security Guard = Torch + Baton I can write a short bit of code to make each profession spawn with these items
  18. There should be a mod to give players the option to start out with stuff (like the policeman in earlier builds). Construction worker could start off with a tool belt containing nails, hammer etc. Security guard starts with a baton and torch Not to make them too overpowered, but even some misc items like that. I like it. But I still wish we could find a utility belt that acts like a backpack but can only contain tools and nails and can be used even if they're not in your main inventory. That does sound interesting, the workman wouldn't need to gather/store if it has the utility belt, but that would make him rather over-powered compared to the rest of the professions. Mind you, that wouldn't be difficult to mod in at all, have him spawn with a tool belt equipped on his back, and it containing tools whilst having minimal weight, would be a carpenters dream

  20. Sounds like a great idea, especially for storage rooms. I mean you don't have 5 individual packets of chips in a store room, you would have a few boxes. Maybe implemented cardboard boxes. So you can box items up in 10/20/30/40s depending on their size+weight Would be a quick job of creating a cardboard box icon, and several recipes

    Resident Evil Mod

Released the first version of my mods. Give it a try and give some feedback/suggestions, also report any bugs you find here please.
  22. Marco I do my roofs much like that too, 1 slope on each side then just a flat top. It doesn't really make a difference unless you have a building overlooking it, but it really doesn't matter. You can send me the .tbx and I'll check it and finalize it for you to make sure everything is alright. I can use it in my map mod, and im sure Ringo could squeeze it in somewhere too (also others may use it for there maps)
  23. Looks pretty darn good for a first try. Roofs can be a bit tricky, just play around with them and see what works. For a full list of room definitions, what spawns in what room and in what container have a look here; http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/5461-full-list-of-current-room-definitions/page-2#entry76231 Put a .tbx up and I can check it for you if you like
  24. I have made 3 military style factions for my Resident Evil mod, it is hard to keep them balanced without being too over-powered. I have settled for; Black ops style unit - make less noise, more alert whilst asleep Biohazard team, are used to these circumstances/trained for it - less prone to disease and less panic Swat style team - marksman and lucky (seemed the only vanilla trait that suited) Each start off with a combat vest (a container for your back), combat knife (slightly better than kitchen knife, but much more durable) and their own specialized pistol (slightly better than vanilla pistol, much more durable). I can see how a military profession would have an advantage, but if you think they are too over powered you can always tweak the zombies in sandbox to suit. You could mod your own specialized weapons for the game, and say make 4 troop types, each troop simply spawns with a specific gun that can't be found elsewhere. (sniper,MG,Explosive) That would be a fun implementation, especially for MP.
  25. Now-a-days the whole conflict is completely and utterly stupid. They are just starting trouble for the sake of it, and for pathetic reasons. There is bound to be a bit of trouble from tomorrow through to Tuesday (as per usual). I have lived on both sides, and it's generally the worst people on both sides. Saying that, the Unionists have been protesting about a lot of stupid s**t lately, a few weeks ago I walked past 100s of them protesting over a cartoon octopus (Or some crap or another) With regards to nurses, there have been a lot of budget cuts recently (2 entire Accident & Emergency departments were shut down the past while). But I hear that is prominent throughout the UK, with recent increases in what nurses have to pay out to be a nurse.
