  1. You are right is in the commonly suggested but thats only against zombies, and zombies you push down and stomp on there faces. You would not push down and npc and stomp on there faces if it was a fight because you most likely would not be able to push the npc down and start stomping on his face without difficulty. What I am suggesting is fist fighting and npc and or player not pushing them down and stomping on there faces.
  2. Well as of now all your character does without a weapon is push zombies down and stomp on there faces. So I think it would be a good idea to add unarmed melee combat against humans only. This means you would use your fists and perhaps even your feet when fighting other players/npcs. So you would be using your fists against npcs and players and pushing zombies down and stomping on there faces as you always have without a weapon. (Perhaps make and unarmed combat skill to go along with it?)
  3. I had an idea since when looting areas i was getting of tired of killing all the zombies around the area i was looting. So i thought it would be awesome if we could throw glass bottles and other objects to create distractions. Perhaps even throwing other objects at windows to break them, such as bricks or other objects that are capable enough to break a window. Also to go with it we should be able to throw weapons at zombies, perhaps even craft some sort of throwing spear/sharp stick to throw at zombies. And to go with the ability to throw weapons at zombies a throwing skill could be added determining the accuracy at which you throw the object/item. This could help taking out zombies silently without having to get up close, though it should require lots of practice to master. (Also the amount of strength you have could determine how far u throw maybe???) And to finish this thread off I believe some distraction items should be added such as alarm clocks, or cellphones which you can place down and make its alarm go off so you can safely loot or do whatever while the zombies are distracted Alright well thats it what do you guys think?
  4. The npc would try and hoard as many dolls as he possibly can to stay sane. And a plush spiffo for the dev house sounds good.

  6. I had an idea where there is an npc who is just absolutley obsessed with collecting as many spiffo dolls as he can, and will stop at nothing (I fixed it ) to get them. So what i am suggesting is an npc easter egg where he will just go bat shit crazy if he does not get his spiffo dolls. So it will kinda be like Tallahasse from zombie land except with spiffo dolls
  7. This sounds like this can be added and it should if the devs have the time but I think more high priority features should be added first. Also if the event log is in some annoying place like the bottom of the screen I would be annoyed with it, but yeah I don't see why it should not be added.

I like all of these ideas except the friendship bar I think the friendship bar would not be good for immersion because it's the apocalypse and you don't know who you can trust I think it would simplify relationships and ruin deception with npc's because you have a bar telling you who you can trust and who you cannot.

Actually I think the diner is a better place for the outpost too, and we can use the small trailer park as housing for the area, though walling it off may be a bit to many resources so whoever owns whichever trailer could barricade it up to how they see fit as long as it does not mess with any other players trailers.
  10. Yea I meant to carry out the event I am not familiar with the tools admins have and did not realize they can so easily be executed. Also the location sounds perfect, and looks like zombies wont be a problem there until the "fall of rose event" but yea the server sounds good. Also if the zombies or going to be super strength, eagle vision, insane, etc. Will you think about making them shamblers instead of fast shamblers?

  12. Sounds like an awesome server count me in, but I do have one question where in Muldraugh will outpost rose be located? If not decided yet could I or any other suggest a location? Also server settings seem awesome and these events sound really cool to, though they seem quite difficult to perform but other than that sounds like a great server.
  13. There is no way this will happen, perhaps as a mod but as you said it will take a ton of work.

I found it dissapointing how everyone is keeps asking for a release dates for survivors instead of just discussing how awesome they are going to make this game in general so I decided to make a thread about actually discussing the immersion, and depth there going to add to this already awesome game. Though they may not be everything we ever wanted in the beginning, but personally I think they are going to be the best addition for the game. So now that we got that out of the way here are the questions I would like to be answered by the community of what there plans are with additional survivors. 1. Where will you locate your safe house? 2. What will your attitude be towards other survivors will you try to be the good guy, or the bandit who is going to steal the supplies of other survivors? 3. How big will you try to make your group a small 4-6 or a large community of 15+? 4. Will you accept all survivors or only useful ones? 5. Will you try to be a leader or a group member? 6. How will you treat other groups of survivors? My answers: 1. The north farm in Muldraugh for a small group, and the school in Westpoint for a large community. 2. I will try my best to be a good person to other survivors but I will not hesitate to eliminate threats. 3. I am going to try and have a big community, and hopefully it will remain stable. 4. I am going to try and accept all survivors and hopefully they will adapt and become better at surviving if not already. 5. I am probably going to remain a group mate being a leader is not something I want for my survivor. 6. I am going to try my best to remain on the good side of other groups, trading, helping, and perhaps even joining forces.
  15. This sounds like a great idea! We should also make all the guns into walkie talkies, and all melee weapons pillows, aaand make all the survivors wear silly hats to lighten the mood of the game (sarcasm, and seriously don't troll even if your username is troll king)

  17. Yes mapname_veg.png is with mapname.png, and also yes I have selected a tile in tile zed and it did show vegetation and trees but not in World Ed, there is nothing but the map in world ed.
  18. In the PZ world editor after converting BMP to TMX files no vegetation forms on the map help please.
  19. I was thinking about going to Muldraugh to get an axe, but we should still be able to drink from the fresh water sources.

We should be able to drink from fresh water sources such as the river because I just realized I cant drink from the river and I cant find a axe anywhere in West Point so I wont be able to create rain collectors so when the water turns off my character is screwed so this should be implemented to save my character and because we all should be able to drink from rivers and other future fresh water sources.
  21. Honestly I hate tripping and falling while running from a horde would most likely just make me mad and make the game less enjoyable. Just like watching people trip and fall in zombie movies and tv shows, it happens way to often and it's not that hard to stay on your feat, though it may add some realism it really is not necessary at all.
  22. Well yeah it is true that they would be super uncommon so i guess it shouldn't be implemented, all well what I really want right nowis npc's that is going to make the game 5X better than it already is.
  23. Yes project zomboid is a realistic game and it is realistic to implement katanas because there has to be at least a couple of people in Kentucky who own a katana. Katanas should be a very rare encounter but saying its unrealistic is false its actually more realistic because there is that chance you can find that uncommon weapon.
  24. Arguing on why a katana cant cut through skull I think is pretty stupid when you could slice the zombies head off. Also I don't see why a katana wouldn't be added a katana can be used as weapon. Though I do want to see other things implemented into the game before a katana, but I don't really see why they should not be added into the game when they can be used as a weapon and you can level up your blade skill to make them more effective. I mean we can already use pens, pencils, and butter knives as weapons why not a katana?
