Not sure if this is meant to be here or in the multiplayer area but would it be more fun if zomboid was easier to host a server? i mean yeah people can host it off theirs but that requires alot of setting up and not everyone can do it as im sure you need access to your router, so wouldnt it be easier to have a host button added to the multiplayer option which allows you to just run a server off of a save? I'd ramble on more but im sure you get the idea

Okay so right now foraging can only be done in certain areas as the tiles are selected that way but the whole map (tree areas) are not so some places of the map are none forageable although they should be so heres what im going to suggest basically instead of tiles why not just use the sprite or entity? so instead of saying "I want thsi tile foragable" why not just make it so if a tile has a tree on it (or at least 6-10 trees around it) it can be forageable because im living in the hut on the verryyyy bottom right of the map and im SURROUNDED by trees yet i cant forage one unless i walk 2 hours back up stream.

oh no i did know how it worked i just didnt expect me to have 7 zomboid folders lying about in places i never use

So here is a list of what i want seen but knowing how long zomboid is going and the community most have been suggested but here we go; Metal doors metal doors you need carpentary level one and sheet metal to get it which is found inside of industry areas they will have alot more health and security than doors and each level of carp will make it looks nicer and yes you will need a wooden door to craft it. Chainsaw Yes the old chainsaw addition that keeps getting suggested either you want to cut up some trees or zeds its clearly up to you but what im suggesting is other than having to find fuel for it you will need parts as well such as after such amount of use the chain will get dull and will need a new one to be found. 50 cal turret/minigun Thats right the good old weapon of destruction wants to be added into this game for certain purposes but heres the deal having either one equipped needs both hands they both weigh aroun 8-10 (cant have it too light or heavy) and the ammo boxes for them weigh at around 6-7 they can be used as very big horde thinners or with the addition of a tripod you will be able to use it as a stationary turret to defend your safehouse but they do incredible amounts of noise so be careful with it Gameboys Gameboys will be used as a way to keep you happy and release bordom and will last quite along time as long as you can keep them supplied with the 4 AA batteries needed for them but there is a chance your player will get angry with the game and get the anger debuff due to dying or losing on the game (if adding a mini-game in the game is possible that is) Mini-fridge Say you want to live out in the wild (or in my case the old trainstation) youre going to need to keep your food cold then why not add in a mini-fridge? portable and is able to keep things cool Generator/floodlights Floodlights are just for places that are really dark and in need of lighting then generator will be a fuel powered machiene thats able to power the floodlights (and minifridge) but each device connected will need to be connected by wire found all around well i ran out of ideas and its been over a year since i suggested anything so tell me what you guys think

i installed it through steam once it came out for it XD well then i've tried all three options and still no luck MEH luckily im playing on sandbox with no zeds and loot set to abundent XD let the fun begin oh you little shits guys after some looking about my pc i finally found it the mod folder that had the mods was inside of my users area not my program files .-. ignore everything i may finally get this working but thanks for the help none the less

no i deleted the folder to get rid of all my previous mods (toomanyitems and tommyguns) cause they still appeared in the game mods menu and they continue to do so and i got no idea why and btwi i dont get zip files i get RaR so all i need do is pull the file out of it and i did put it in the mods folder its chilling there but nothings happening so i have no idea whats happening
