  1. I tested it, and it actualy works well... expecially if you use only that mod (i've seen some minor conflict with Sleeping Overhaul). Only one note: if you start a game with that mod and then you uninstall it, you could see some fake corpses in some houses.

  2. I usualy choose West Point, even if sometimes i spawned in Muldraugh anyway ... at least, IF i understood correctly what is what (Muldraugh is the one near the river, right?).

    I like it just because it has a less defined "center of town" with all the shops, so you find them scattered around.

  3. This is without a doubt, a Free to Play game.

    After it is out of Beta and the full game is released, it should be free to play.

    If not free to play, then it should be $5 or less. A game like this is not worth $15, it shouldn't even be more than $10.

    I love the game, and am willing to purchase it, but not at these prices.

    Games like 'Planetside 2' and 'Fallen Earth' are so much larger, have godly amount of detail and quality compared to PZ, and they are Free To Play.

    Sincerely, a logical fan.

    That's your opinion.

    I gladly payed 12€ even if it was just an alpha, since this game is pretty unique... probably when it will be released i could buy it for about 25€ (i already decided i'll gift it to a couple of friends when it will be released), and since it is on Steam it will probably be discounted now and then.

    This is my opinion.

  4. At the moment  zombies have mainly just some clothes on them, and that makes them a little boring and with no "personal touch" that would make them a little more beliavable.
    In the real world there aren't only standard citizen walking around, we have different kinds of people: shopkeepers, lawyers, police or fire officier, many kind of workers and so on.

    So this is my simple suggestion: make some "specialist" zombie, like:

    Fire officer: sturdy and quite heavy clothes, and some tools the usually use (like axes);

    Police officer: a gun, some bullet, a truncheon and maybe handcuffs;

    Costruction worker: some tools or building material, and sturdy clothes (jeans?), maybe a helmet;

    Employee: some nice clothes, maybe a suitcase with papers and pens inside;

    Tugh: some tough looking clothes, a knife or a weapon of some sort;

    Shopkeeper: simple clothes and different stuff (depending on what shop it comes from, like hardware store = nails);
    Doctor: some pills and medical stuff;

    and so on!

    Ideally in a group of zombie half should be standard-zombie and the other half with various zombie specialists, maybe with varius degree of rarity, with specialist zombie that have usefull loot being the rarest.

    I didn't find this in the suggestions thread and i don't know if developpers already decided to add something like this in the future, if so just ignore the whole thread.

  5. I'm a newbie player, but here are my answers:

    1) the longest i survived was... well.. 10 days and 8 hours :D

    2) I think i'm mostly dieing from zombies, and some times to fires.
    3) I usually sneak around and try to avoid contact, in the last game i played i didn't found any baseball bat so i had to use a golf club (that is as tiring, but it does much lesser damage, it was quite a nightmare killing a single zombie each time).
    4) At first i ran away as soon as i heard the allarms, but then i activated like 3 of them in a row attracting only 3 or 4 zombie each time, and stopped running away. I died the next time, when the allarm called about 10 / 15 zombies (i also managed to ran away, but i was in such a bad shape that i bled out before i could bandage all injuries).

  6. Oh i see, the only number i have on the main menu is 17(0012a)... and i just re-downloaded the game today, so maybe Steam is some version behind Desura. Anyway, i'll try it again as soon as you update it.
    (or more likely i'll keep unistalling and installing the mod when i need to build ropes, since i really like it... and now i know how to "clean" the game if i make a mess)

  7. This is an awesome mod! I really like it!
    BUT in my experience, once you install it you can't place more "sheet ropes" (i don't know why, you are still able to use existing ones).

    I have the lastest version of the steam game, if it is NOT 2.9.9.10 then just ignore my post (i still don't know how to check what version i have).

  8. Nice work guys, if you have time check the typos (i only read swiftly, finding "Accaierino" instead of "Acciarino" :D ).
    I also found some misleading translation (like "corner" it isn't "cornice" it is "angolo", or like "door frame" that is "intelaiatura porta"), if you need an hand, just ask (and teach me how to access and modifying this files).

  9. Good thing Project Zomboid isn't well known branding then. Most of the people who will recognise the name are the people who already own it. Changing the name to something that isn't rubbish would probably only help sales. If you say the name "Project Zomboid" to someone who's never heard of it they'll probably just think it's another dumb, uninspired zombie game.

    I'll probably be yelled at for this, but this is exactly what i thought:

    when i saw this game on Steam i was expecting something like "kill zombie hordes in a nice old-style graphics, and some times remember to drink or eat because this is a survival game".

    It was pure luck that made me tried the demo "just to pass an hour or so with a free game", and discover what an amazing game this is!

  10. Well, i guess this idea isn't bad. Sure "zomboid" tells everybody that this game is about zombies, but "This is How You Died" its a much more accurate description of the game :)

    Anyway, keep this name or change it to whatever you want, this will remain a really good game :D

  11. I just bought this game after I saw it on Steam. Firstly i though it was like most other "survival" games (mainly go around smashing zombie), but then i tried the demo... and fell in love with it!
    It's like they took my ideal of a survival game straight from my brain and made it true! So many thanks for making it, i hope it will blossom and become even better as time goes by (i already decided to gift it to a couple of friends, as soon as is in a more final state).
