    I found the problem with loot respawning.  Parking stall objects were added to the map for build 39.  Build 38 doesn't know about those parking stalls, and treated those objects as regular zones, which caused the larger TownZones to be chopped into smaller parts.  The large zone around Gigamart was chopped into pieces too small to contain Gigamart, so no loot would respawn there.

     

    Unzip the attached file into the zombie/iso/ directory on the server.  Also, delete the server's map_zone.bin file.  Clients might want to do the same, I'm not sure if the parking stall zones will break anything on the client.  But this fixes loot respawn in multiplayer.

    The only way to currently promote respawn on the biggest PVE server is now to soft reset multiple times a day. Dumping shelves used to promote respawn within an hour but no longer does in most zones and giga mart starts with the shelves looking full, but are actually empty.

     

    Veterans are not having a hard time with this, but new players to the game are starving

    In that video, the house is surrounded by microwave ovens.  In build 35.15, generators were changed so that each stove/radio/tv/fridge/freezer subtracts 1/3 fuel.  That would explain why the generator suddenly shuts off after an hour, all the fuel is gone.

     

    The other bugs in the video should have been fixed.

     

    Actually, there's still a bug with multiple generators in the same area.  If one is on, and another is off, the one that was turned on/off last determines whether the area is powered or not.  This is due to a limitation of how squares are marked as having power or not.

    Gas is set to use the absolute minimum. It happens in houses with or without microwaves. Tested. I tried it in the house next door that had standard stuff.

     

    When I log back on, its still fully fueled and running, but no longer powering stuff because I logged off. Same as in video

    Enigma said a fix has been done but will not be released till 39 I guess......

  6. And Generators still turn off on Multiplayer when you log off.

     

    RIP ever saving food. I was hoping that one would be fixed. It used to stay on all the time even if you logged off till it ran out of gas. Now it STILL autoshuts off after you log off

    Another perspective from the steam forum if it will help figure out what causes it.

    Basically this has just happened to myself and a friend as of 38.21. I noticed I couldn't turn lights on and off but my friend could and food showed rotten to me but fresh to him. We restarted the server and I switched the generator back on and off before he joined and it was reversed with me being able to switch on the light and he wasn't.

    In my case, a server I help out on has been error-free without any other mods than hydrocraft, an orgm variant, and a map mod.

     

    Your sever also worked five for a day when you removed most of the mods?

     

    The sound issue isn't one of these issues. It's everywhere.

    Any luck with Fixing generators so they do not stop supplying power when we log off? Just curious since I can't farm :P

     

    So far the fixes have not worked. No mods vanilla server

  10. Is there a map file I can delete so that stuff I build on the 4th floor stops showing up on the 1st floor?

    It worked for a limited time(perhaps because another invited into the house was still in the house), but once we were both out of the house and I logged back on, everything was off again and I had to restart gen to get lights on, despite that it was still running.
