Black screen seem to have been fixed. I played for one hour or so and it didn't happen. I use windows.
Scratch that. I drove out of the road, on the grass and it was going fine but once I pressed "s" to slow down, the black screen showed up again.

Yes, this is also a solution, but after a year it will be difficult to find at least one charged battery in the car.
They could make it possible to use a generator to jumpstart the battery, like Walter and Jesse did in Breaking Bad when the RV battery died.

Note: Sometimes PZBullet crashes the game for me. I'll try to screencap the console next time it happens because it doesn't save, it's a full java crash that doesn't go into console. Related? Anyone getting a complete crash where PZBullet appears in the console?I also have Service Pack 1 for windows 7. So, we have that in common.

Any mods also?I am on windows. At first I had necroforge on but I thought it could be causing the problem, so I deactivated it and the error still happens. But to be honest sometimes I don't even need to hit anything, it just happens out of the blue. everything goes black except for the UI, only reloading fixes it, but my character comes out of the car exhausted and never recovers. I will try to make a video tomorrow to show how it is.

It happened to me the moment I turned the car's engine on, exactly like that, whith crazy pointer, the black screen and the red box with numbers going up to six thousand. I can still open the vehicle radial menu, character health panel, etc. couldn't leave the car by pressing "e", had to use the radial menu, the character came out exhausted, screen continued black and the numbers in the red box kept rising.
So, I loaded the save, the car disappeared and my character is now forever exhausted, I don't get the ''rest'' option and even after sleeping nothing changes

I took two pieces of a bench from point "A" and when I try to place them on point "B" the two pieces won't face each other, they face the same direction... It's like having two right shoes instead of a right shoe and a left shoe. I don't know if the issue is just with benches, tried with a center table and it works, I have half of a piano, haven't got the othe half yet, so I don't know

I think it's a refference to "Jaws". But if your zombies are getting used to it then you should get the "Monica Elisa" (not sure if that's the name), which is a refference to "Mona Lisa", obviously.

This one time I entered a house and there was cooked meat in the stove, still warm... I know it was some bug but I like to believe it was an NPC who ran away when I arrived.

You know what would be cool? A tow truck. For those times when you want to surround your home with cars but you don't want to double back on foot just to get the next one, or for when you find that car you have been looking for since forever but its missing some parts and you want to fix it in the security of your home base. Or just because you want to drive a tow truck.
