    Killermonday Games need our help with funding their very creepy horror game, Fran Bow. Check out my review on the game. Hopefully it will show why they deserve the love and support.     *UPDATE* Hey all! I've updated my manual a bit, to reflect some of the recent changes in the Steam Early Access release, including combat changes and additions, Challenge modes etc. Although a manual may be a bit redundant with Spiffo's "Zomboid Survival Manual" now in the game, and the inevitable tutorials that will eventually be added, I thought it may still come in handy for some.     Hey all,

    I've created an "UNOFFICIAL" manual for Project Zomboid, mainly to assist those new to the game, and might help in the interim before the Kate and Baldspot story/tutorial are back in.

    NOTE: The details in the manual are fairly up-to-date, but as PZ is still in active development, anything in the guide is subject to change etc. Apologies for any errors, I'll try and update it as necessary. (*EDIT* This was made before the "Last Stand" mode and some other additions were added. Will update the manual at some stage and re-upload)

    Idk about you guys but climbing anything would be a great feature. Just think you've just angered a horde of zombies and your trapped with no place to go but up, they cant follow you there. But not just carpentry ladders natraul ladders on apartment or maybe even moveable wood ladders that you can use to climb building of course this would attract a lot of attention but every thing comes at a price...

    Player Taunts


    This mod adds more immersion to the game by adding certain player reactions based on different situations. For example the character will taunt during fighting, based on the traits and weapons he/she uses. A hypochondriac character might mumble something like "I need some antibiotics" whereas a short tempered character might shout "Die, die, die!" instead.
    There also are reactions when the character is injured. He will moan and comment on his health status (this feature is really basic at the moment, but will be improved for the next version).

    Version 0.7.2:

    Taunting during combat (now based on amount of kills) Reactions if player is injured (very basic atm) Reactions upon spotting zombies New trait that enables movie quotes

    Lockpicking
     
    A Lockpicking Mod for Project Zomboid which allows you to quickly open locked doors.

    Breaking Locks
    If you want to break door and window locks you need to have a crowbar in your inventory. Right click the door you want to open and it should give you the option to break the lock.
    Be careful though, since this is rather noisy and will certainly attract some unwanted guests.
    When you break open a door like that, there is a chance that the crowbar will slip and smash against the door, creating an even louder noise in the process. When you try opening a window with the crowbar there is a chance that the window will be smashed.

    Lockpicking
    The art of silently opening a lock with a screwdriver and a bobby pin (the latter can be found or crafted from a paper clip). Unlike breaking a lock, using a lockpick is totally silent.
    Although it has its dangers too. If you fail to open the lock, it can break, making any further lock picking attempts impossible. Even if you succeed with opening a door you might lose the bobby pin.
    As you can see, both methods have their pros and cons and it is up to you to decide which one you prefer.

    Changelog to 2.41a
    - 3D WorldModels of Spraycans and Chalk
    - A lot of new symbols to spray (alphabet, numbers, special characters, special symbols)
    - Every symbol is now drawn in 2x tile size
    - Replacing of the menu button
    - Resizing of symbol menu buttons
    KNOWN ISSUES:
    - Existing colours of e.g. blue will change after spraying the same symbol in e.g. red (after loading save game the colour is back to wanted colour)
    - Because of redesigning the menu I had to remove the ability to draw with chalk (it will back in the next version)

    You can find Spray Cans and Chalk in some of the containers.
    - 9 colours (black, white, red, blue, green, yellow, orange, violet, cyan) (chalk not in black)
    - A lot of symbols (alphabet, numbers, special characters, special symbols)
    Every spray can and piece of chalk has 40 uses.

    - If you have one spray can or piece of chalk in your main inventory, you can open the spray paint menu to begin to spray/draw.
    - After clicking on one of the symbol-buttons, a ghost tile of the symbol appears on your cursor.
    - Now click left on the position you want.
    - Your character will start spraying.

    Info:
    - You can't spray on natural tiles! Next Version, probably.

    planned for the next versions:
    - adding north,south,west,east versions of every symbol (textures are already done)
    - spraying on walls (textures are already done)
    - complex texts on walls with chalk
    - timedAction and walkTo
    - sounds
    - graffiti
    - attack zombies with spray cans to make them blind and without sense of smell (animation also planned)
