@Hydromancerx I've been having issues trying to open the pack files for a long time. Pain in the neck for me. :\ I've been wanting to look to see what's there in case I get an idea for a mod.

@zomboid123 I was asking Hydro if I could mod things from his mod, not where to find stuff in game. On the other hand, if you could tell me where to find or send me the PNG. file(s) of the glasses and wallets, that would be a big help. Thanks for trying to help me with that info but I'm been playing this game for quite some time already and it would be a bug if I couldn't find the items in question in game.

@Hydromancerx Alright then! I'll be sure to share the results with ya if I get it working. EDIT: Poking around in the class files is giving me an idea about that wallet... If we can somehow make our own class file or make a lua version for the wallet and list the money a lot like the keys are listed in a 2nd class file, we might be able to make the wallet idea work. I'll keep poking around for what might help me with either of the 2 ideas.

@Hydromancerx You said the Hearing Aids and Glasses in your other post. I didn't find any glasses in the mod so I'm going to stand in the Googles for the time being. I also got something to look in the CLASS files right now as well so maybe it can help with puzzling out the wallet idea?

@Hydromancerx I have toyed around with the traits before so I can see if I can find something for you to work with. May I barrow the items in question from the mod? I might be new to modding but I did got a new Profession to work for me, complete with starting items/recipes.

Which mod folder are you looking in? I'm using the Steam version and I found mine. :/ This is my path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\108600\498441420\mods\Hydrocraft\media\lua\server It's one of the loose files in that server folder.

The Cheat Menu mod might allow something to be done but I don't know for sure. The infinite carry wight which is one of the many cheats within the mod may be your best bet.

It sounds like your request would be best set as 'bad traits'. I will have to look into how to make bad effects for traits happen but I do know how to add a placeholder for them in the first place.

Ok, so there is another use for it but it still adds nothing on it's own. As in reading it and getting any form of boost like regaining a bit of happiness.

Bug report: found 1 so far. Gunsmithing book does nothing at all. Nothing to learn and no happiness buffs or anything at all. Useless 100% unless you just want to rip it up for other means.

More info, I am using Windows 8 and playing PZ through Steam. I have tried regular PZ, 64 bit, and Compatability mode. The mod screen in game is blank, i cannot activate Hydrocraft. Which path did you use? The mod folder in your Steam files isn't the one you want to use cuz it does nothing as far as I can tell. Try this one if you haven't already: Computer > Windows (C:) > Users > username > Zomboid > Mods You are my hero. You're welcome. I made the same mistake when I started using mods myself.

Candleberry has a beetle icon. I don't think that's right or the bug icon is a placeholder. Edit: Candleberry has the same icon as the Beetle. Of all the bug reports, it has something to do with a bug icon.

Spades should still work. Do you use any other mods? Wooden Dowels, and Dry Towels. I did try to test the mods one by one and as I said, I can't get it to repeat. No trouble in a new game so I'm just going to restart.
