  1. You can set the seed requirement down to zero and the code works. I'm not super familiar with the code but it might be trying to check the seeds incorrectly. farming_vegetableconf.props["Corn"].seedName = "Hydrocraft.HCCornseeds"; I thought it might have been the check for finding it in inventory but it seems to be working for vanilla seeds.
  2. Couple bugs: Slicing pizza does not result in a pizza stone, making them a one time use item unless you just eat the whole pizza straight. Additionally, boring pizza results in a positive gain on boredom and unhappiness, whereas cheese pizza is a negative (penalty) of boredom and unhappiness
  3. I think canning food got broken again in .13. Have all necessary ingredients, do not get the option to can them. Haven't tried with homegrown food but the store found ones arent working even when fresh. Matched everything in the crafting recipe file to double check.
  4. The NPCs aren't supposed to help you, in fact, they are supposed to make the game more realistic and hard, you genuenly have to be carefull about how you speak with other survivors. The thread is full of people amusingly talking about forming groups with npcs and making their own army. I think there is going to be some disappointment when they're largely just another enemy in the game. The risk of shotgun to the face on greeting is really going to curb any desire to talk to any of them. Interesting game mechanics tend to offer risk vs reward scenarios, however with perma death and high fragility it really means that you want to avoid risks.
  5. I have mixed feelings about npcs since I can remember when they were in the game. I know they're getting improved but zomboid really rewards ultra safe game play, It'll be hard for me to not just kill on sight. I remember plenty of oh hey a survivor! Lets go make friends! Survivor: Fuck you Well whats not polite Survivor shot guns you in the face ending your playthrough Or you know waking up and noticing all the barricades are gone from all the windows and now theres blood stains on your floor you meticulous worked to ensure didnt happen when removing the zombies from the premise. I've been proving that I don't need them since their removal, I don't plan on changing that aspect unless there is some jesus feature that I'm sure wont get iterated on for years. Call me negative nancy but I think while the tech will be impressive, I don't think they're going to add quite as much favorable gameplay at their launch as people are hyping up for.
  6. Jesus, I mean a worm has saved my life but going days on worms? I can't imagine. I wonce under estimated travel time between west point and bedford falls, over encumbered with the loot of high value targets in west point. Alone in the woods I started losing health due to starvation. The chips were gone, all that was left was a some worms I had grabbed out of the last few fridgse I saw. I checked the map desperately for a nearby cabin I could change direction for but no, bedford would still be the closest. With all other options exhausted I closed my eyes and swallowed without chewing. Amusingly this also knocked me down to another encumbered threshhold and was able to basically get home twice as fast while stopping the starvation meter, in retrospect if I hadnt picked up the stupid worms I wouldnt have had to eat them.
