Run the StartServer32.bat or StartServer64.bat in the folder you download the server, and when its running you have to conect to your public ip. The config files of the server are created after you run the server and choose your admin password in c:\users\(yourwindowsusername)\zomboid\server Close the server, set your settings, and run it again.

Hi there, ive seen some "new" options in the sandboxvars.lua running with the steam server. So it raised a few questions. The first Speed is the same as the one in the zombielore part? The Survivors serves any purpose now or its there for any future features? (wink, wink, nomentionpolicy, wink) The --Erosion i think the -- its for not to use, but if anytime its use, is that for start with the erosion at any moment? And finally what the starterkit have in it? Also theres some new code at the end of it, nothing to see there right?

Im gonna update the server to the steam branch in the next 24H's, im currently saving the world, so if anyone want to stay around, just survive but dont do things around, cause theres a chance that they will not be saved tomorrow. We are almost finally there . Thanks for the patience and sorry for any inconvenience with this matter

If you want to use the NoSteam version of the server, run the ProjectZomboidServer.bat that its already in the folder of the game. Then use your public ip to connect to it.

Do again the SteamCMD thing to update the server files.

Dont know where exactly put this, but ive made this for myself, and maybe more people want one, so this is an idea for a merchandising t-shirt

If so, tested again and it works fine on Win 10

Im on windows 10, ive tested the borderless window setting, the upper bar still appears, but i cant maximize or adjust, just move the window. And if i set the option back to no, i have to restart the game, the apply or accept buttons doesnt revert the change.

I dont see this part added in the patch notes, but check here http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/16346-released-iwbums-3227/?p=203362 Dont know if theres a way to teleport to coordinates, but at least you can teleport other players now.

You need to have the ports open as explained here http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/5795-how-to-run-a-server/ Also if you are using the server that comes along with the game, you have to open the game by putting the launch option "-nosteam" as explained here http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=514493377 and here http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/16360-released-build-3227/ -
Well its not like im upload them 1 by 1 by hand, but when i use the ftp to download it goes 1 by 1 and if you do the maths if every file takes a couple of seconds, its many time, ive find a way to upload them faster doing 4 zip files, even whit that, to make the back ups and download the files, it still goes 1 by 1 and takes like 2 days

If you run the server that comes along with the game, is the no steam version of the server. If you want to run the steam version, you have to download it using steam cmd following the instructions http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/16360-released-build-3227/ So just use the one that comes with the game, and run the game using the -nosteam launch option so you can connect to it.
