build 28 server start problem.

Hi all.

 

 

Trying to run a server after removing the old one for build 28 but it's not working for some reason

 

 

The last part of the text when I try load a server is this.

 

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException
        at zombie.SandboxOptions.updateFromLua(SandboxOptions.java:84)
        at zombie.iso.IsoWorld.init(IsoWorld.java:959)
        at zombie.network.GameServer.main(GameServer.java:204)

Press any key to continue . . .

 

 

Then it will close if I press a key.

 

 

I did the steam repair but still same problem not sure what I am missing ?

Did you alter the sandbox options on your server previously?

Yeah I done it  just after running the server and did again just now but still same thing.

 

My plan was to delete build 27 server  completely to make sure every clean but something gone wrong lol.

I'd try it without the sandbox settings in this case . . the error seems to indicate the server can't load them for some reason.

I removed SandboxVars.lua from  C:\Users<yourusername>\Zomboid\Server\servertest_SandboxVars.lua

Still the same thing.

 

I must of  messed something up as no one else seems to have this problem lol.

 

I have removed the folder in my documents and doing another steam repair see if that helps.

Really do have to make sure the error message isn't different. If it is different, then it's a new problem.

Deleting the Zomboid folder in my documents fixed the problem.

 

Not sure what it was but happy it's working again.
