I need help with Steamdeck!

Hello people

I am a newbie to this game

I bought Steamdeck to play Zomboid wherever i want and here is my problem =(

 

I wanted to use Mods and make multiplayer server with steamdeck. (Not dedicated server!)

 

But i simply couldnt make the server =(

 

It says "Normal Termination" and i want to know if other people have the same issue

 

 If possible, can someone tell me how to solve this?

That error can be caused by mods, and some more technical issues. Try it with ZERO mods and see what happens. If it loads fine, try it again and again adding one or a few mods each time so when it finally errors out again, you can easily narrow down the mod responsible.

There are also game logs that may be useful located in Users/YourUserName/Zomboid but if you can't make sense of them yourself try sharing them in the support forum and someone who knows more can check them out.

 

If you solve the problem don't forget to edit your post with the resolution so when the next person who has that same problem searches it just may help them out.

Steam has recently released an update that breaks the hosting on Linux. I can only recommend hosting a dedicated server instead or waiting for Steam to push out a fix.
