Cross-question then, why have the ability to collect/spread gravel/sand initially? If it's purely a cosmetic thing, then it's very weak. Because of the fact that the discarded content covers the whole tile, you have to twist to make it look acceptable (the whole tile is covered from - because of what may be inconsistencies with other tiles.
