TinLegs
It would be cool if on the emergency channel or some other channel we can hear other survivors trying to reach out or something. Nothing complex just some text over the radio that could help build a story. Maybe when we get NPC's this could be a good addition with that? getstoopid
getstoopid
Yup, would be really cool to have something like that to increase immersion. Not on the emergency channel though as this ought to be an automatic broadcast. TinLegs
Axezombie
yes and our characters making sounds instead of being totally mute to all kind of injuries except sometimes when they die, and it wouldn't be just for a better immersion it could have impacts on the gameplay, for example a character with a foot/leg injury would make a bit more sound by walking/running because of the pain, when they're exhausted, when they're scared or other situations I didn't think of. Makes me think of a new trait: "heavy snorer" snoring may attract zombies while sleeping getstoopid
knightshousegames
I've always thought Ham radios with survivor chatter would be super cool Like you could have notes in survivor houses like "If you are reading this, there was an emergency and we had to leave unexpectedly, tune into [x frequency] on your radio to reach us" Or alternatively, just scanning around you could maybe hear chatter about the locations of special hidden caches in the world or just locations that have a lot of loot in general or working cars with keys or something.
