F4TAL3FFECT
I never used Compatibility mode, actually what does it do ?It can help performance and and stop some bugs I believe. Without CM, some UI elements like the moodles don't work properly for me. However it has some drawbacks like the fact that you can't zoom in and out while ingame. Ontogenesis
I have a low spec laptop, so I use it. Get the black screen otherwise. It's a real shame to lose the zoom, as it helps navigating quite a bit both inside and out (zoomed in and out respectively), but can't be supported without shaders. Oskar636PL
Well I have to play on this mode (I have very good graphics but 4 ram and a decent processor) but I really want to play on normal mode just for zooming ability.
Dark_Author
I also have to play on CM because the game doesn't recognize my graphics card.
Connall
Alot of the support threads are usually solved by saying "Have you tried running in compatibility mode?" so I assume there are a fair few people using it. I personally don't use it though.
