NewBornpt
I think that if a player starts farming the plants should stop growing when the farmer goes offline... Or, After the plant gets into the final stage, it should survive for a longer period of time... In fact the plant is alive, and should not die unless severe cold winter comes... because a plant doesnt root in 2 days after reaching its final stage I say this because I can´t play PZ all the time, and everytime I plant I just collect rooten fruits/vegetables in the other day XD I never get to eat what I plant XD... unmog

EnigmaGrey
You can set the server to PauseEmpty in the servertest.ini file. That'll pause time if no one is online. Might not be what you're looking for, though.
unmog
Ive yet to do farming yet~ I would have been surprised though if my plants just died for no reason after I didnt pick them if there was no reason that the plants would die. In fact I would suspect that should instead be a good way to store unneeded food, just dont pick it until you need it and it would stay fresh longer. That would be the more realistic way to do it anyway.
