Axe is not cutting trees? Plz remove post TY

I just had the game load in 29.3 on my old game and my axe will not cut any trees. Now I am running two mods and I am not sure if this can be the trouble or not. I walk up to the tree right click get the cut down tree option and my character swings away. The bar shows up over there head but dose not move and they keep swinging. I have killed one half damage axes already.

 

The two mods I am running are Pravus Realistic Kentucky firearms mod and His additional skill book mod. If they are the trouble thats fine I have to hope he updates them. But has anyone else had trouble with using a axe?

actually, i had the exact same thing happen, same mods.

 

let my stand there and swing 75-100 times and the progress bar overhead never moved.

i deleted the RFK mod, and everything works ok now

Okay so I literally made an account to help you

 

Here is a quick fix until he gets around to updating

 

Go to your RKF mod folder.

 

Go to media, scripts and open up the RKFMelee file.

 

Go to the bottom of the axe entry there and paste this in

        BreakSound  =   PZ_WoodSnap,

        TreeDamage  =   35,

 

It should work after that.

 

I will post this to the RKF page as well

Thank you and I am in hope this will help other. I am a pc moron and have not one clue on how to do any modding above how to put them in the game. So most of this is greek to me. But again thank you.
