Project Zomboid not running properly.

Whenever I run project zomboid a cmd prompt pops up as well as a white Project Zomboid window. The last thing the cmd says is "STATE: enter zombie.gameStates.MainScreenState" then music plays but the window is still white. I've installed Java, tried ProjectZomboid64.bat, ProjectZomboid32.bat and compatibility mode. My OS is Windows 8.1.

 

Help is appreciated.

Does anything happen if you wait a few minutes?

I waited a good 10 minutes. CMD hasn't changed, window is still white and music is still playing.

Go to %username%\zomboid and find the Options.ini file. Open it in Notepad and set multithreadedrendering to false.

No change.

 

Setting fullscreen to true seemed to fix my problem. Might be a problem with windowed mode?
