  1. So there I was spending a quiet evening at home. The news had said something about riots in the area but my house was pretty out of the way so I wasn't worried. I decide to make some salmon for dinner I pop it in the oven and then sit down to read a book on farming. I guess I lost track of time and left the salmon on too long. I opened the oven to see if anything could be salvaged. That was my last mistake. Hellfire roared out of the appliance. My kitchen was instantly engulfed in an inferno of death. It was as if Trogdor himself had decided to burnanate my thatched roof cottage. Flames covered my body as I ran out of the house and into the yard. In my final moments I watched as my cozy little bungalow turned to ash.
  2. I would also like to have have mass graves to deal with dispatched zombies. Burning them is okay but it has more potential for attracting unwanted attention.
  3. Boxed milk is not all that common in the states. The exception might be nasty old soy milk. Since when do beans lactate?
  4. Honestly you shouldn't be able to grow all that much in Kentucky during the winter. They usually get a pretty good frost starting in early November and ending late February. I have a feeling they will change the year round farming once we see things like canning salting and smoking introduced.
  5. In the book WWZ the zombies' moaning was used to summon other zombies. It would create a chain reaction that could attract zombies for miles. Most human strongholds were eventually surrounded by moats of zombies numbering in the tens of thousands. A wooden wall or chain link fence would not hold up to the pressure of that many bodies pushing against it.
  6. I'll play devils advocate. Would it be worth all the trouble of condensing or powdering the milk instead of just consuming it as the animal produces it?
  7. The only trouble I see with some of the proposed crops is the availability of seeds. How many home and garden stores would carry flax or cotton? Most of the seed probably comes from huge agri-chemical companies like Monsanto.
  8. The ability for server admins to spawn groups of zombies and supply caches would be nice. Much better than having to reset the whole sever when you begin to run short.
  9. Eastern Kentucky is one of the top areas in the U.S. for illegally grown marijuana.
  10. Making powdered milk is a fairly complicated industrial process from what I understand.
  11. Yeah there are a lot of non perishable food items that could be added. For example where is the spam?
  12. Maybe fire extinguishers should be added down the road.
  13. I assume the Devs will be taking some creative license with the map to make it a little more exciting. Anyway I doubt the Devs have much time to look at this sort of thing anyway. I did it mostly to amuse myself and others with "what ifs".
  14. Being able to bury lost friends and comrades would be awesome. Now that's got me thinking about burying supplies......
  15. I was thinking of these as locations that could be worked into new towns or used to flesh out current areas.
