  1. The rubbery undead is a topic of discussion, but not a huge priority atm, within the team. I kind of like it: it adds to tension in the game ("OhMG, it's still moves and now follows me!") and stops player just running zeds over for "fun"(stopping cruelty towards the undead!); but I understand why others would like it be different. The bouncy cars defying laws of physics are a known issue with a potential fix in the works. In the mean time - stay safe while driving
  2. The "drop" function drops things; "put in container" transfers item to the container. Both are accessible via RMC. You can also "drag" item from your character inventory/backpack to a container, if you do not wish to use the "clicking" version. You can "transfer all" or "loot all" both to/from the floor/container. In your example with 4 packets of chips: you just expand the item view and transfer 1 packet (by "drag" or by RMC > transfer/drop) Simply put, junglistjimI do not understand where the problem is?
  3. Mechanics skill XP gain is WIP. The team is working on balance between simple and more skilled tasks, success and failure rates and avoidance of repetition which usually leads to "grind" (installing/reinstalling the same battery repeatedly, for instance) Plus, the skill should fit in nicely with already established skills...This may take some time to get right. So keep the feedback coming! (within reason, obviously )
  4. Nearly 3 hours later... Yes, they can bite you from inside a car! 4) Scenario and Difficulty levels affect Z response range. The easier settings = the less responsive zombies. Initial infection requires character to be 4-5 tiles away from zombies for them to respond. Survival mode was summoning them from far, far away. 6) In this situation you're driving through a horde. Very slowly. Less kinetic energy = less power to knock anything down, right(?) 8) One word for ya': Teamwork. Zombies have it, too Plus, they're very motivated to get to the delicious meal inside the metal box.
  5. I've been trying to reproduce this for a while with no success... Any more details? What happened? What vehicle was it? What game difficulty settings? ( I can go on )
  6. Hi there! Dreacon78, could you send an image of this?
  7. Not a bug. Line 4 of the Vehicle Build 40 Release Notes: Player now walks to engine hood/bonnet and opens it before starting Mechanic skill tasks. It will close it automatically when you're done. Character cannot access the Mechanics menu from inside of a vehicle
  8. Hmm..it was brought to my attention that I might have been too hasty to claim the bug fixed It is MOD-related so there is only so much we can do and the team has looked into it on this end. The rest is up to the modder. You live and you learn, right? Not sure if the issue has been brought up in the dedicated thread either (Hydrocraft). Regarding "direct answer/reply is easier/more straightforward since you can also request for more details about an issue" - it's a matter of preference, I guess. Most of the time provided info is sufficient to check / reproduce the bug / add it to the bug tracker / answer player's question. In case more details are needed we just ask and the players are nice enough to share further details. That said, I like the idea of having more emoticons to communicate the state of things because it is faster than typing and doesn't take up space in the thread . One day... Happy gaming!
  9. ..beat me to it! All batteries are at 0%
  10. Hey, Shin, which scenario and starting conditions you've got in your game?
  11. Hi, PPanda0421 it was kinda suggested that I (aka Sasha) issue a "pie" to indicate that the team is looking into the reported issue. You know, to aid communication while not "clogging" the threads at the same time with repetitive messages I am sorry if you've (perhaps?) missed that notification but I assure you that I did not miss your report. The team has since - hopefully - fixed the issue for the future build.
  12. Hi, ze_Heroneus! Could you provide a little more detail on the set up of the (hosted?) game, please? How many vehicles you've tried? How do you get keys? I am trying to replicate the issue and I get a variety of vehicle "states".
  13. Has been fixed, or so the team bug tracker claims
  14. This is a known issue with a fix "in the works". Soon...
  15. Just stick car keys in the ignition and see what happens Thanks, for the report!
  16. Hey, MaxD12 the links to these images seem to be broken. Could you re-upload, please?
  17. Would be great if this was in the bug tracker Thank you!
  18. Hey there! Could you give some more details on this, please? Things like is it in SP or MP; any mods; what do you do just before this happens... I believe the team has fixed "the last possible instance" for the next build, but double checking doesn't hurt
  19. "As designed" is response from the Arts department
  20. Regarding hotwired vehicles: it is possible to hotwire a vehicle even if there is no petrol/gasoline in it. Once it's hotwired it won't start. Could this be the case here?
