  1. I have a popsicle freezer where one side is freezing the items in it, and the other side isn't. I've actually moved frozen items from the working side to the non-working side, and watched them thaw out.

Is this normal behavior with 25.2? I've never seen it do this before.

  2. Build 25.1

Chevalier Cerise vehicle menu has options to move to "Rear Left Seat" and "Rear Right Seat". The action moves you to the opposite side - eg selecting the left seat puts you in the right, and vice-versa. This happens with other vehicles too, but I haven't kept track of which ones.

Yuri is fixing this atm and we'll patch the build with it.

In general we'll be improving collisions with common-sense stuff like mail boxes, trash cans etc too - I'll probably explain that in the blog later today.

Can you also please take a look at collision with the saplings? They are hard to distinguish from the background at their early growth stages, and I end up getting stuck on them on a regular basis.

Okay Litter on the ground has colission now too, making impossible to drive vehicle safetly. Any little piece of paper or rock has damn colission now.

Yeye, its fine, though the build runs actually considerably worse for me.

I have i3-6100, 3.7GHz, 16GB RAM, GTX 1050Ti 4GB and I still get stutter with normal amount of zombies. I get about 10 FPS in cities, while random stutter is significantly more prominent. Game pushes my CPU to 50-60% territory all the time... which still makes game stutter badly.

Also cars still attract zombies WAAAY too much even when attraction is set to zero.

Yep, I keep wrecking my car on the tiniest piece of garbage lying on the road. Personally, I think it's difficult enough driving the cars without worrying that having a 1 pixel collision with a stop sign or lamp post total the vehicle. The game is really just too small of a visual scale to add this level of collision, imo.

Stutters are back for me too. They were gone in 24.4, but now every 30 seconds or so, the game locks up for half a second to a second.

Fresh world, insane sized hordes. PC, Win 7 Ultimate... I can provide further details if necessary.

It's a problem in the base game, but large bags that Hydrocraft adds makes the problem much more obvious. This is why there's a max weight, as everything has a performance penalty, but mods typically subvert this.

Is it only containers you can carry, or does it also apply to crates/cupboards/etc?

    3. Out of the 30-40 or so vehicles in the traffic jam, only 5 were not wrecks, and were severely damaged.

Only the front of the jam (where the accident likely occured) should be like this. Rows of cars backed up towards the rear wouldn't be involved as much and in good/better shape.

I don't believe this is intentional as the aftermath of a demolition derby isn't this violent.

Unless the military sent a helicopter to destroy the horde of zombies milling about the traffic jam.

Is it/will it be possible to dismantle the cars to remove them from the road? With a propane torch and welding mask?

had a bug where switching from the driver seat to front right seat in a minivan activated the engine noise (and zombies)

Agreed, the same thing has happened to me. Along those lines, I've had the engine turn over as soon as I get into the car - it doesn't happen every time, but it's quite often.

Thank you for the hotfix earlier, wasn't expecting one within minutes of posting :D

Basically we started a new multiplayer game with 24.3 with the intention of trying to run a longer term game in order to provide more in-depth bug reports for you guys! But sadly the lag was still a considerable issue (not to the same extent as experienced with cars in every parking spot, but still noticeable), to the point where it is hard to keep people playing. Tried testing this in singleplayer as well and got the same results on two different systems, even with low vehicle spawns and 0.3x zombie spawns.

The lag increases when going near a parking lot, driving or when there are a lot of zombies nearby. Lag is not noticeable away from towns.

It is worth mentioning that this is the same type of lag we would experience in long-term games (1-3 months into the game) when testing earlier this year, which was due to a memory leak.  Obviously this isn't the case now, as it happens at the very start of a game, but it is very clearly tied to the vehicles themselves and results in similar lag spikes.

    System 1:
    i7 4770K
    32 GB RAM
    Geforce GTX 980
    64 bit Windows 7

    System 2:
    i7 3770K
    16 GB RAM
    Radeon R9 390
    64-bit Windows 10

Haven't seen that many people complain about lag spikes though, so i'm curious as to whether or not others are experiencing the same thing (on fresh build 24 servers, not old saves)? Very strange :(

I noticed the same thing, but it's very minor on my system. I was going to mention this and forgot to. I can provide system specs (dx diag or something else) if that will be helpful.

    Edit -

I should note, I'm playing single player.

  9. New game with 24.3

    - 'U' key opens a "Vehicle Mechanics" frame every time it's pressed. I can get 10 frames for the same vehicle

    - I haven't found any vehicles which have loot in them (trunk, glovebox, other seats)

    - Gas consumption, acceleration, and car speed seem to be good, but I need to test on some different types of vehicles.

Other issues reported here for <24.3 seem to have been addressed for my current game. Well done RJ!

It does this only on this car? Could you give me your save file where you're in a car that does this? Can't reproduce here :(

Also guys: how's car speed & gas consumption feel?

I'm also having this happen. I've attached the two vehicle mechanics on the cars I've tested.

It happened with both of them, when I was driving (straight) on the highway from Muldraugh to Rosewood/March Point. It occurred shortly past the Muldraugh gas station leading out of town.

I can provide a save file - just let me know where & how you'd like it.

New game started with vehicle build 24.

    - Vehicle doors seem to be taking damage when zombies attack it.

    - Vehicle noises are gone again.

    - Testing Franklin All-Terrain and it accelerates up to about 30, from standstill, with a single tap of the 'W' key.  Braking also doesn't seem to work consistently. Most of the time pressing the opposite direction key will make the car slow down, but some times it doesn't kick in properly. The space-bar doesn't seem to work consistently either. I haven't been able to narrow down reproduction steps, unfortunately, so I can't give more specifics.

    Thanks for the quick updates!

Started a new game with 24.2, and I'm still seeing moments where braking isn't working. It's most pronounced when driving in reverse. Back up -> brake or acceleate forward -> car continues to slide backwards like it's on ice.
