yeah i did xD but i didn't know it was doing that

happened to me again but not because of too much items. I destroyed 1 window bandaged it and ate alot of food then suddently my character was in pain (never been close to a zombie) and i ate again and got minor injuries and i thought that maybe rest would fix it but no she died in her sleep (no zombie breaking in)

That could be it, having way too much stuff apparently hurts you? yeah i guess but i don't think that 10 bullets and some chips would do that xD

kinda happened to me too one time but in my case i had too much items in my inventory so i kinda broke all of my bones and then died without even beeing close to a zombie

may i ask what year the drivers are from? i have the same kind of graphics but intel told me that i had custom drivers (2010) from fujitsu which did this all the time for me (on the first steam verision) but it never did it again after fixing the 2013 drivers https://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Graphics&ProductLine=Laptop+graphics+drivers&ProductProduct=Intel%C2%AE+Core%E2%84%A2+Processors+with+Intel%C2%AE+HD+Graphics update here the system automatic update tool is just stupid
