  1. Priest and gym teacher combination perfect lol
  2. not quite sure if paladins fit with the game, like what occupation do you think they would be represented as? I like healers though
  3. Yeah ur right. Definitely hope they do though =] Forgot all about those other traits, i used to choose heavy drinker alot
  4. looks really nice! wish the main menu was flipped around too. does anyone else feel as though the buttons should be mirrored? Exit button on the right side? Usually always is. And the main buttons centered.
  5. I'm sure it's a "codename" for the helicopters sniping zedz from above i was just thinking that lol
  6. cool! Yeah hope they do add something like this in the next build, it would certainly help out =D
  7. thanks for the replies, happy to hear that it might just be a joke phew, now i feel stupid but yeah if its a mod it would be cool
  8. Now with NPCs soon to come and multiplayer already released! We are not all alone anymore in single or multiplayer! I enjoy playing supportive roles in games and have noticed that the character traits have a lot of options but is mainly self centered. Which isn't bad just I think it would be fun if they had time, could add more traits and roles which were best brought out in a group. Some Ideas in general to help build supportive strong groups: OCCUPATIONS Pastor - possibly can give long term stress and unhappiness reduction through certain actions. EMT-(unique trait maybe called Community Care) when group members get hurt, the attributed character becomes more calm. The EMT also has a decent starting level of defensive driving (if that is going to be a thing) and a small level of health care Paramedic- (unique trait maybe called Community Care) when group members get hurt, the attributed character becomes more calm. The Paramedic also has a decent starting level of health care and a small level of defensive driving TRAITS (not sure about the names) Comedic Knowledge- surrounding group members can become happy through specific actions such as randomly displayed jokes Argumentative - group member(s) surrounding the attributed character often become angry when the attributed character is bored Abusive - group member(s) surrounding the attributed character often become fearful when the character is in pain (shouting attracts zombies) Blood Lust- group member(s) surrounding the attributed character sometimes become anxious when the attributed character is in combat Auditory Learner- group member(s) surrounding the attributed character learn a fraction of what is being learned when the attributed character is reading a book Spotter- group member(s) surrounding the attributed character gain an accuracy bonus when out of combat Would love more ideas
  9. In the most recent dev article released on [9/14/15] it was hinted that there indeed would be a dragon(s) in PZ. I don't know if this is just some inside joke but if its true i feel strongly against it. I made a post on the steam forums which may have been taken down about the same issue, for what reason, i dont know maybe it was too harsh. If so, i apologize. Here we have a game which you combat the common cold. Which potentially will display nutrition and calorie count intake. Soon possibly a very indepth medical system will be implemented. All set in the real world plagued by zombies. No special zombies, just zombies. We have people arguing over walking and running zombies, depth perception. With research done to back it up in the real world. This is a hardcore zombie survival game, dragons to me, very obviously do not belong in the base game. Why should they when even zombie animals are not allowed (which is fine with me). Sure some people might want dragons just like they want thomas the train in skyrim. Or maybe helms deep in left4dead2. Modders can handle it but I don't think it should be in the base game. Unless the game world changes to fit having a dragon involved. LIke having magical shotgun rounds and being able to use spell scrolls. Hey! I am up for that! But the game as planned, does not in anyway seem to fit with dragons. And to me, does not fit with the Romero/Brooks zombie lore as it does not mention dragons anywhere. MY SUGGESTION, if dragons decide to crash the party the game world should be a game world which grants the dragons more of a right to be there, spells, other fantasy creatures and specific items to do with trapping dragons and some specific radio message to tie it all together. And it would be great, just as long as it makes more sense.
  10. Currently in PZ you press Q to shout and pull zombies. I feel there certainly could be more use out of a button than just shouting from a few random phrases. Why not a Macro Wheel?! YOU can say what ever you WANT with the press of a button at what ever volume level YOU Want! Hold Q and a wheel pops up of editable macros and respective volume level adjuster! And a default center macro which will be automatically spoken upon just tapping Q. Some macros i would personally use; "Friendly Dont Friggen Shoot Me!", "Where are you (all)!?" and "We were looted again..." Volume level (ie; whipsering-normal-shout) suggested on the steam forums by Skooba Skeeve
  11. If what you are saying is for the ability to see floors which your character could not see then I also completely do not agree with this. If you are inside a building how the heck would you be able to know what the top of the roof looks like. Or even how high the building is without seeing floor signs in stair wells or elevators? Fog of war is a big part of this game.
