  1. We are still working on this, we are reviving this old project.  (tophat)

    Okay ! ,,,, any "early access" soon :)

    edit: my friend and I don't mind falling every two minutes we're used to it now :P

  2. Milk + Chlore in a bottle. Shake & trow to watch zombies blow up :P

    Broom + Kitchen Knife + 3 or 4 Duct Tapes = much zombie slaughtering fun for about five minutes :P

    10 Cigarettes + Empty Pop/Water Bottle + Lighter = light & trow in front of a horde to create a disorienting smoke screen and RUN ! :)

    Empty Jar + nails + insert Pipe Bomb into the jar = Trow & enjoy watching zed brains all over the place !  :shock:

  3. The red box shows up when an error occurs in game. The number is the amount of errors that have occurred.

    OMG  :blink:  :blink:  My friend and I have been playing co-op all weekend and we taught it was a redbox saying how many times his PS3 controller was fully charged....... we eventually had 891 in the red box  :blink:  :blink:

  4. "You lived with your family in the farmhouse outside of Muldraugh when it started. Every night, you hear screams from your neighbours' houses.

    Now your parents are dead, and your supplies are low...

    You are restricted to the farmhouse and the area directly to the north. If you survive for two months, the world is open as normal.

    Let's hope you can find what supplies you need in the small available area, and be sure to choose a forager, trapper, or farmer, or your death will be slow and painful. Expect a couple of unexpected twists before your time is up..."

    The farmhouse is a great but remote location that a lot of players move out to, but what if you started there, and can't leave except to scavenge from the houses to the north?

    All feedback is welcome, especially about the number of zombies/amount of loot. Too much/little of either, please let me know!

  5. No im not kidding its legal in the USA to use as its not really know in the law as a firearm and only in mishigin and californium (cant spell those to states) including a napalm mix but due to this there starting to get more regulations on it and im pretty sure your on the FBI watch list for a while oh you want proof? Here http://throwflame.com/  http://store.xm42.com/ both websites allowing the sell of flamethrower within the states

    :eek:  :shock:  :???:  :mad:  :evil:  :twisted:  :-D  :mrgreen:  :idea:

    *my reaction*

  6. Instead of the chunks around the character loading what if the entire map loaded in?

    Because the entire map doesn't load and it just loads a square around you would things break if the entire map was loaded?

    My laptops CPU would go BOOOM! then my  curtains would rise in flames then Ill run out and jump off the balcony and run in circles on fire whilst screaming DONT LOAD ENTIRE MAP !:P

  7. Having a button to look behind you could be cool. It would represent looking over your shoulder. This would be possible while walking or running. It would allow you to see the horde behind you etc.

    'that would be OP' i hear you cry!

    well to be honest when moving away from zombies the biggest threat is whats in front of you. zombies are slow and can't catch up with you in most cases. Not looking where your going would be very risky! You could run into a horde of zombies or simply fun into a wall....  so whats the point of looking back? Well to see whats going on, to see what interesting stuffs happening.

    Also while looking forwards it would be nice to lock the view dragged forwards, so you have maximum view distance.

    Also I'm sorry as I imagine these two points have been mentioned before.

    I wouldn't mind ! :) It would help prevent me looking like a ballet dancer when I fight the undead :P  *when I fight, or am moving slowly I usually do a 360 on myself while moving every few meters xD*

  8. "relooaad.... relooaaddd.." *while moving backwards in a room with burnt out flooring....* "relooaaadd..." *falls into massive horde in the room down below right in the middle of the horde and stuck in the corner...* "noooooo!!! YOU WILL NEVER GET ME !!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAWWW!!!!! nawwwwww!!! arggghthththth splaarghtttt !!" DEAD. :D :D

  9. Anybody interested in a survival challenge? No set time limits or starting point. You can die and re-try as much as you can. Just meet the basic requirements of the challenge when playing, and post now and then with updates on how things are coming along.

    CHALLENGE REQUIREMENTS

    1. 8 Months Later pre-settings.

    2. Only eating scavenged food. I.E. normal food found in houses etc.

    (That means: No farming. No fishing. No trapping. No foraging. No worm eating etc.)

    That's it. How long can you survive?

    *pulls on rubber gloves* challenge accepted  :twisted:  :twisted:  Must not eat wormz  :cry:

    hmm... shouldnt we at least say what the zombie pop should be ? low, normal, high, insane?

  10. I;ve noticed a bug in the menu of the game... when I play in a resolution of 1024x768 I have to double click my savegames' title because the "continue" "load" "delete" buttons don't work and they overlap the picture of the savegame... Ill get a screenshot soon.

  12.

    So on the AskTheDevs Mondoid I was told by RJ that I could make portable fridges by setting it to a fridge so I tried this

    item Cooler
        {
            WeightReduction     = 60,
            Weight              = 0.8,
            Type                = Fridge,
            Capacity            = 10,
            DisplayName         = Cooler,
            Icon                = Cooler,
        }

    But it ended up just turning into a bloo item any insight/ideas?

    what do you mean by "bloo" item ? if you manage to crack this Ill send you birthday cakes xD

  13. I'm not sure if I am going to continue the Downtown Series videos because Man Bear Pig Gaming has started his own, and his quality is just f*****g :blink:  overkill great compared to mine, and he has so many more subscribers..... :ph34r: and project zomboid is lagging even more at each update on my laptop :'(    Maybe Ill continue once I have my new desktop at the end of the week i dunno... :huh:

  14. How about the ground being muddy after a rain that leaves tracks while moving. good for tracking zombies, other players in MP and NPC's when they arive.

    Maybe even the mud slows you down a little, or risk slipping and injury. Maybe even fall down like the zombies after bashing them with a bat. I just see me running in the rain and slipping and falling on my back while a horde is on my heels.

    Then there coud be a way to cover your tracks? Or just lead everyone in cirlces and loops to throw them off.

    Places along the river bank would always be muddy.

    Then there could be muddy clothes that need cleaned or swapped out. Possibly cause movement reduction or increase the noise you make or simply how much load you are carrying.

    I would say yes for the tracking effectiveness, but no for the slipping, and muddy clothes needing to be cleaned... it would be good for RolePlay servers but in singleplayer I can already hear myself screaming at my laptops screen and rage quitting after slipping in the middle of a horde  :lol:

  15. Good day sirs!

    So I am very new to this game and I just started a new run. I was roaming around looting houses and trying to find a safe house. Every time I make one though, I wake up to a hoard of zombies! I guess you could say I don't know very much about safe houses.

    So I was wondering where the best place for a safe house is! Please tell me where they are and if they are in WP or Muldraugh. If you could use the interactive map to take a screenshot, it would be much appreciated.

    Thank you and happy Zomboiding!

    P.S. any tips on how to better my defences are very welcome!  ^_^

     any buildings second floor. you only need to do one thing: demolish the f***i*g stairs  :lol:  :lol:
