    • Are you pressing 2 directional button "at the same time"? Like pressing A and S, or W and A. At my side when i tried to run away in panic, when i pressed 2 directional button at the same time they tend to keep moving that way for like more than 3s without stopping, depends on how long i kept pressing the 2 directional button. For additional info, it is the "start time of pressing the button", so it won't happen when you are slightly differ the time of the pressing even if you need to press 2 button together. Like giving a 0.1s before pressing the 2nd directional button.
    • But it literally just is though. I brought up another game w/ the same thing that you were advocating for (an excess of firearms w/ incompatibilities)  and explained why I  don't like it,  and that I I find it frustrating and tedious. Your response amounted to "nuh uh" and that was that, you didn't even engage w/ the premise of the argument.  PLEASE tell me how I "glossed over" a key part of the arguments you didn't make.   You also 'brushed it off' by not only comparing two things that aren't alike, but used a terrible example because the devs are actively streamlining the crafting interface and recipes to make the game less tedious. It directly contradicts the point you were trying to make, that because there is some inventory management, we can take it to its extremes without any issue. A simple solution to having too many duplicate magazines? Just don't take them. It's just that simple.   You also fail to recognize that there is a scale, it's not binary, there isn't a switch that says "inventory management < no inventory management", I'm saying that the levels you guys are proposing just do not sound fun to engage with. If you want other examples of games w/ ultra tedious weapon and magazine management, take a look at Zed Zone, which is more similar to Zomboid in that your carrying capacity is chiefly determined by your weight.    Guns aren't the consumables, ammo is, and adding more guns doesn't solve that, it just makes them even more disposable as you'll just toss w/e you don't have ammo for at the time.    I do agree the repair system needs an overhaul, but that's an independent issue and has essentially nothing to do w/ what we're talking about.    It's also not bad faith to say that I'm firm on my opinion, you still haven't shown me anything that even comes close to swaying my opinion, if anything you've reinforced it.    I also never said I wasn't okay with any variance in calibers, even giving examples I think would be appropriate and feel satisfying w/ the current gameplay model, just that there is such a thing as adding too many shovels to the sandbox.   This is just the same discussion as w/ people who want to simulate realistic trajectories in combat and account for every speck of dust in the air as they do it, it's either A: Not feasible, or B: Feasible, but provides diminishing returns or even makes the game less enjoyable to play.   So at best you've either come in and completely misunderstood what I was saying, or at worst you're arguing in bad faith.
    • Sometimes debug mode do this if you didn't turn all cheat off before closing the game i think?
    • Yeah it'd be pretty badass bonking zombies out the way with a door.
    • Yeah I'd like to plant trees in the safety of my base instead of having to frolic around the area and cut them down while exposed to zombies.
