0 Beard
Can you try using the "Alternate launch" option when launching the game through Steam? If the game fails to start again, can you share your console.txt file, found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?

0 Beard
It seems to stop loading when the sound gets loaded. Try going to your Steam Library > Right click Project Zomboid > Properties > Set Launch Options > Type -novoip > Start the game If that does not help, can you try typing -nosound instead? This is to check if it is a sound related issue.

0 Beard
In that case, can you share the latest “hs_err_pid” file found in your main game folder “Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid”?

0 Beard
The error seems to be specifically having issues with the display. Do you perhaps have multiple monitors connected? Can you disconnect the extra ones and then test if that is the case? If not, try going to the C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid folder and edit the options.ini file. In that file, edit the fullscreen=true line to fullscreen=false Then try launching the game again. Beevus

0 Beard
Edit the options.ini file again and change the first two lines to the desired resolution. Alternatively, delete the "resolutions" file in your Zomboid/Lua folder.
