Redrave23
When players open the map in game it seems to consume 100% of the players CPU causing freezing (PZ not responding) or massive lag where you need to minimize and ignore PZ for a few minutes for it to level out again. Not everyone has the issue and server itself is unaffected it is client side on different spec computers. darling
Beard
Are you referring to the paper map by pressing M? Do you have any mods enabled?
Redrave23
I am and do. Players on my server are experiencing huge cpu spikes and crashes when using M to open the map
Beard
Does it happen on a server without mods? I would recommend testing that, since it is very likely one of your mods might be the cause.
Redrave23
Have to go through and try to find out which mod may be causing it. Do map mods tend to have issues with "M" map?
Beard
I have generally not heard map mods being the cause, but I would not rule them out completely.

darling
hey, my friend has the same issue. but no one else on the server does. they can play the game normally until they try to open the full map, thats when the game lags to less than 1fps and their cpu spikes to 100% until they have to force-close the game. its not a problem on vanilla. we play with modded maps. but it's really interesting how only they have the issue when atleast 3 others dont have it.
