heisen
I bought a computer to have a dedicated server, I gave it a fixed IP: 192.168.x.x and started it using the steam cmd. On my router I opened ports 16261 and 16262 in addition to steam ports 8766 8767. When I start the server everything goes well but when a friend searches for it, it appears in the list as "the server is not responding" and there is no way to join . Could you please tell me what is happening, this error is driving me crazy.
Beard
Your friend would need to use your Public IP instead of your 192.168 local IP to join. This woulod be your public IP: https://whatismyipaddress.com/ If that does not work, are you able to join the server yourself?
heisen
I can join the server by mysefl, my friend tried to join using the public and same issue appears
Beard
So the issue is specifically on your friends side, since you say that they are unable to join any servers? Can you share your friends logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?

Beard
I am a bit confused now, did you not say in your previous message that "my friend tried to join using the public and same issue appears" Which means that your friend gets the same errors on other servers, right?
