mushy
• 41.78.16 • Multiplayer. • Host. • No. • Still occurs on new save • Reproduction steps: Follow attached images for more details. https://imgur.com/a/x3ckgSl 1. Player A and B are in the same hosted multiplayer game. To differentiate between player A's different names, we will use A.1 and A.2 (this is to make the attached pictures more understandable since the username I used when taking screenshots for A.1, the formatting made the username invisible, sorry for the inconvenience). Player A.1 claims a safehouse, player B is invited, all is well and good and the UI confirms that. 2. Player A closes the game and server with it, changes Steam name from A.1 to A.2 and starts the game and server again. 3. Player A.2 is now locked out of safehouse interactions, since according to player B's safehouse UI, player A.1 is still the owner of the safehouse. Player A is locked out of interacting with their own safehouse, and without admin privileges, nothing can be done about it to my knowledge. • I hope this report was helpful, I've tried my hardest to make the issue as clear as possible, but might have made it more complicated than it had to be in the first place lol. Staferot
Same error. Same condidions (game version, etc.). Player B change steam username. Player B can't use safehouse after that.
EnigmaGrey
Since the game pulls the username from the Steam name, the only way to handle this is for the player in question to change their Steamname back to the original name or for the server admin to free / clear the safehouse.
