In multiplayer, TV and radio are not translated.

Both the PC language settings and the game language are set to Japanese, but they are not translated in multiplayer.

In single player it is translated.

TV and Radio language is currently set by the server. Meaning if the server has its language set to English, the TV and Radio will be in that language for everyone as well.

Are you the one hosting the server? You would need to change the PCs system language on the PC where the server is hosted.

Can I ask how you are hosting the server? Are you using the Host function or a dedicated server?

This problem is very much reported by users in my country (Japan)

 

It has been an issue among streamers and community members for several years.
Not to be sarcastic, but it has been this way for so long that some even say it is a spec that is not translated.

Do you have the PC region set to Japan as well? Could you share a screenshot of that setting if you do?

Thanks for the screenshot, it seems like you are right that this would be an actual issue on our side. Will forward the bug report to the devs so it can be looked at. Preferably the servers would have an actual language selection instead of taking the language from the PC Region, but as mentioned this is not yet implemented unfortunately.
