Huh?.. Both show the option to plumb from what I can see in the screen shots? Do you have the wrench / pipe wrench in your main inventory? Do the barrels have water in them?

I just tried this, and it does the plumbing action but afterwards u get thesame option again to plumb it.

Unable to turn it on saying it needs a water source.

Washing machine is standing on indoor tile because i put 4 frames around it with a roof

Update on my previous post.

 

So i was able to perform the plumbing action over and over again cause the plumbing didn't seem to have any effect.

Today when logging on, the washingmachine was plumbed, so perhaps when the cell was reloaded after being offline for some time, it did trigger it?

 

Maybe the client and server are not being synced when performing the plumbing action on washingmachines.

Also, the object you're trying to plumb must be surrounded by walls / be in a room, so to speak. It should not work when these are only "under a roof" or "on a built tile"
