Starting problem

Wlhlm

Question

Hey guys,
So, I've bought PZ yeasterday and did download it today (on Steam).

The launcher runs without problems, I select one of the modes and that command prompt with the pz window opens. Then, that first warning in the pz appears and it closes.

I tried to run both modes, both versions (32 or 64 bits), as administrator ,but nothing happened.

I asked a friend's help by team viewer, she tried to open it and it runned with no problems. But when she closed the team viewer, the game closed too.
We tried again, and decided to observe what was being written in the prompt, then a warning appeared (check the print screen in the annex).
So, we don't know what is that warning about. Everything in my pc is uptaded, Java, drivers, Os.
And it is also strange that the game only runs if the team viewer is working.
If someone had the same problem and could solve it, please, help me.
Thanks.

Just for future knowledge, on Windows PZ doesn't use the operating system's Java installation, so none of that matters. PZ also doesn't use XNA or .NET framework.

Ok thanks i will know, what I said it's my begining to solve game problem generally ;)

And graphic drivers too of course

Ok, just forget it, I solve the problem.

I change the compatibility of the launchers. The 32 started running without problems, but the 64 version keep closing.

If you have Win 7 64 bits it's not normal, but if it is working well ....

Test to update java with and this order : X86 and X64 if you have Windows 7 64 bits (??)

Here : https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

And have you a modified version of windows (I mean by an group or anything like that ?

I council you to :

- Download Win32bits and Win64bits versions of Java

- Uninstall all JAVA stuff in "Windows Uninstaller"

- After that erase all folders in C:\program Files(x86)\Java AND in C:\Programs\Java (keep java folders)

- restart your PC

- Install Java 32 bits version

- Install Java 64 bits version

- Restart your PC

your pretty clean with java.

Now if it's always not working watch in your "Windows uninstaller" if you have :

Microsoft XNA Framework (more and more need in games) : http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=20914

Microsoft .NET Framework : http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653

Microsoft Visual C++ Redistribuable 2010+2012, X86 ans X64 :

2010 X86 : http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555

2010 X64 : http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14632

2012 X86+X64 : http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679

(for the last DOWNLOAD and choose : vcredist_x86.exe + vcredist_x64.exe)

I hope help you ;)
