For multiplayer, it would be nice to have a way to secure a vehicle, just as one can secure his stash with a padlock.

 

Or block interactions for other players on vehicles in the safehouse territory maybe?

Yes, that's why I choose a house with a garage as a safehouse.

 

What could be nice would be the ability to install a car alarm, (car alarms already exist IG btw) it wouldn't stop thieves completely but if they're around zombies they may not have time to steal engine parts or hot wire the car without having the risk to finish as a zombie.

 

Another realistic thing would be to use a car steering wheel lock, impossible to remove without the key, except maybe with some tools and high mechanic skill so not every burglars can steal the car

btw I think they should nerf burglar, make them able to hot wire only regular cars, then to hot wire commercial and sport ones they would need to read the magazines or/and have more skills in electronics or/and mechanics.

 

I'd suggest you, to prevent your car to be stolen, to get a lvl in mechanics high enough to remove driver's seat and/or wheels and log off with them on you. It won't offer a 100% protection but at least noobs won't be able to steal your car easily.
