Map marker for player, option to remove

Hi,

 

Just a small suggestion. I'm enjoying the new map feature in build 41 but it would be nice if there was an option to disable the red "you are here" player marker so that navigation is a bit more interesting/challenging. Presumably this would not be too difficult to implement?

 

This would make the map feature function more like the found maps but always accessible from the start of the game. Perhaps there could be a marker for where you spawned so that you'd have some idea of where you are?

I like the idea of not having a "you are here" marker. 

 

However, I do not know how this would work with the current map system. As you move about the map it draws in where you've visited. How is this possible if you don't know exactly where you are?

Might be hardcore map mode, it not draws places you visited, and it will only add it from the maps you find.

Hmmm the problem is that you as the caracter have proberbly live in the are for a long time /youre hole life and wake up and dont know anyting about the area not even wher you have got what you need the last years. you shud know alot of the town you have lived in.
