inventories are more organized and limited

I want to suggest  tbat inventories be seperated into clothing articles with pockets or storge space and for the game to get rid of the bag of holding idea as much as possible while still being fun.

 

in this idea you would have limits to what you can carry in each container (article of clothing.) 

 

some items you could not hold in your pockets because they are too big, and ideally would need to carry or tie to your self (on back) to hold them. 

 

Also I think filling your bags past their intended capacity should be possible but as you continue to fill them the bag / clothing starts to become damaged and eventually breaks with all your items falling out onto the floor.

 

I think you could really make the items in the game feel 10x more valuable by limiting the inventory in such ways, as players decisions would be way more specific when looting areas. 

 

currently and unfortunately it can be very easy to hoard a giant stack of items and bring them to a safe house. (naturally settings can be changed to mitigate this) but it would be way more engaging to search a house knowing that you could only carry the essentials, and also bringing the right gear to collect everything.

well judging that you dont like the inventory system as it is shows me that your not a great judge on what makes the inventory management fun in a game like this.

 

its one of the best parts of the game actually when done right.

Well aside from the fact that that is a ridiculous thing to assert that I did not know quote on quote "fun", You have only shown that Inventory management is a problem for you because in a lot of games they do separate many different areas where you hold things.

 

escape from tarkov is a great example of a game that does make you split up into all kinds of pockets individually and (In that game)you need to actually pay attention to the size of the things that you carry that is what I am hoping to achieve with this type of suggestion and if you can't see that then And you're not trying understand What I'm saying when you're reading and it just shoving An antagonistic jab at the game and Talking to me like I'm to blame for it.

 

I don't mind you having a different view and I don't mind you thinking the inventory needs to be changed in a different way but there are much better ways to go about expressing that then just telling me I don't know fun or I'm trying to make the game more tedious. That doesn't make any sense.

 

My post didn't assert that I know exactly how to make the perfect inventory for this game (nor would I ever even try to do something like that for a game that I am not creating)

 

Yeah, you didn't say you don't like inventory systems but then again you didn't suggest anything yourself here so How the hell am I supposed to take that statement?

You can either engage with the problem that I am suggesting is in the game (as that is the bulk of the post) or just be pedantic and insulting to someone who enjoys playing the game and has some thoughts about how they believe it can improve. What I suggested could add depth to the Game As it would add to the gravity of your decisions when deciding what to loot.

 

Get off your high horse please or just leave me alone. Most posts I'm sure get buried anyway so really no sense in adding another view on something you disagree with especially if you're not looking to at least have a discussion on what might benefit the game.

 

I do not like the infinite bag of holding that we currently have in game I feel like this should be changed into something that feels more impactful and robust.

 also, I just looked up that the devs have talked about doing something similar to what I've actually suggested Here. 

 

And what the heck do you mean by proper time sink... every game is a time sink. makes no sense

 

I know you don't talk to people like this in real life so why are you do this on a computer?
